Well, they've had two weeks of foreplay--tonight the actual competition begins and they better hope that somebody cares.

What bugs me about the show, other than the fact that Drew Lachey is not Tom Bergeron, is the incessant studio audience screaming whenever the male contestants appear (which I assume in canned in large part, since there is a sweetening credit on the crawl). Now that they've been divided among the teams, I guess we're going to have to hear that on every number tonight. Do they really think that the home audience will believe that a studio audience will go crazy for someone they only saw for the first time a week ago?

ABC can skew so OLD sometimes

Ya I agree. I think if ABC just makes sure it has a stable schedule post-strike then its okay. They can shore up Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays here real soon with Thursday and Sundays big hitters along with Boston Legal returning for new eps later on too.
