Thank you Marc for unhiding this folder.

What an exceptionally entertaining pilot last night! To date, this is my favourite new show to debut this fall. It delivered payoff minute-by-minute with superb execution of the comedy-spy genre (not at all derivative of Jake 2.0 as I had feared).

And what a superb supporting cast, picked up on waivers from other distinguished series. Though not seen extensively in the pilot, Miss Sarah Lancaster (the entrancing Majorie from What About Brian) and Mr. Ryan McPartlin (Riley from Living With Fran) will hopefully feature greater in upcoming episodes.

I've also seen this pilot now and liked it! Hopefully follow up eps are as good as this one.

I thought it was just OK. But given I don't watch anything at 8 on Monday, I will be patient.

Could you imagine trying to watch TV now, using VCRs???? I would have to buy about 20 tapes and take a hlf hour to program it each week.

Welcome to my world last year. It was tricky trying to figure out which ones were online, which were just on TV and what to tape. Very difficult.

Ryan was also on Passions for awhile. Amazing how a show with such awful acting has a lot of it's stars moving on to primetime/cable. (Jessie Metcalfe (DH), the guy who played the original Ethan (My Boys), and Charity who starred on Twins... amazing!!!)

I still use a VCR. It's not that bad plus most shows are available online.

I only watch online as a last resort.

Once you get a DVR, you wonder how you managed befre it.

My Tivo Suggestions picked up Saturday night's re-air of the "Chuck" pilot, and I have to say it was very entertaining. I'm hoping NBC continues running the re-air on Saturday nights, since I'm not home Monday nights and the Tivo grabs "How I Met Your Mother." (Of course, if the next few weeks of HIMYM are of the same quality as last Monday, I may have to go the route of the Nerd Herd instead, sad to say...)

They had a reference to LOST in Chuck!!

As the doctor was scanning his brain for government secrets, he referenced Oceanic Flight 815!!

I thought that was super cool!

Thoroughly enjoyed tonights episode, especially the scene where Sarah cartwheel-hurtles the hot dog counter for the biff-pow-splat fight scene with Casey.

And again, although only in a few scenes (the dinner party and at the end), both Miss Sarah Lanchester and Mr. Ryan McPartlin make the small screen sizzle.
