Reaper is getting better every week.

Plot twists. Character development. A good sense of humor. This show is worthy of a much larger viewership that it has.

Here's to encores airing after Smallville during the hiatus to try to increase viewership. While they're at it, try Life is Wild on Tuesdays at 9 and simply let One Tree Hill air after Top Model.

This show is like a box of chocolates. Tonight's was one of the... better chocolates.

It's interesting how Reaper and Chuck have panned out. Reaper seems to have such a wealth of resources but has been, on the whole, phoning it in. Many scripts have been predictable and lazy. Chuck, meanwhile, is working its butt off, getting the broad strokes right, and at the end of the day it still often fails to achieve the inherent charm of Reaper.

I still look forward to Reaper every week more than I look forward to Chuck, but it almost feels unfair.

I actually dropped Chuck because Reaper just had so much more potential, but I think you're right. I may have to do some online viewing later on of Chuck once everything shuts down in coming weeks.

I actually enjoy both Chuck and Reaper. On Chuck, the cast of charecters at the Buy More are fantastic, and add a great deal to the show. Chuck has also done a good job of adding a real relationship story to the mix. The female spy also happens to be the best looking female on any new show. Reaper on the other hand, has had an interesting relationship story from the begining, and the actor that plays the devil is incredibly funny. However, I find the supporting cast at The Work Bench boring, and not that funny.

The Workbench boss is funny in a caraciture sort of way. The 'pranks' the girl plays on that boss are definitely funny. The two sidekick guys are a weak spot in the casting/writing. It is like having two Zander characters in the show being less than competent at everything. Maybe they can grow on the audience the way Zander (from Buffy) did, but until then they are just constantly delivering 'one liners' between plot segments. The show did better this week with those two off on their own adventures rather than just being sidekicks.

The sidekicks need a little more to do, but I like them. I know there aren't a lot of Psych fans around here, but the Ben character reminds me a lot of Dule Hill's character on that show for some reason. I don't know, their personalities (and even line readings) seem really similar for some reason. And I have leftover Tyler Labine respect from Invasion. I agree with Obv about the boss; he works for me because of his over-the-topness.

The relationship thing is one of the most annoying parts of this show for me, though. They have some nice moments, but it seems to keep going in circles. I wish she'd get let in on Sam's secret somehow. Until then, she isn't adding much.
