Considering how poorly The CW has started this season, the numbers don't look that bad.

For a show that wasn't given a good lead in, these numbers are very impressive. If it stabilizes in the 3 million range, CW has to at least be satisfied.

At least the viewership/demos are almost consistent. I still think a full season pickup is in order. However, the show should have attracted more viewers and part of the problem is the fact that no one is watching the CW.

The last sentence is the major part of the problem along with facing House and Dancing. I do think a back 9 is close to a lock, though.

This was my #1 pilot, but after three weeks it's not even in my top 5 new shows. I'm far from convinced that this translates into a great or even good series, but I'm giving it a few more weeks based on the strength of its pilot and cast. Going up against House is tough, and at least the premiere demo is still mostly there.

I just don't know how they can keep this show fresh for a long time. Seems very limited.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer lasted years killing the demon of the week. Reaper's first hurdle will be to write his chubby sidekick a little bit less 'slacker' and a little bit more useful.

I doubt it will grow any more in Week 5 once House returns.

Whether the spike was House-caused or not (and it probably was), I have to figure this is due for a back 9 pretty soon based on the early Gossip Girl news. But maybe Reaper isn't doing as well on iTunes or with girls 15-16 or something. Roll Eyes

And for the record, I thought episode 4 was a major step up from 2 and 3, creatively. Still has yet to recapture the quality of the pilot, though.

I agree. If Gossip Girls, the biggest flop of the season gets 22 eps, so should this show, which has outperformed it from day one.
