Wednesday fall: America's Next Top Model | One Tree Hill winter: Beauty & The Geek | One More Pussycat Doll Needed spring: America's Next Top Model | One Tree Hill
Thursday: Everybody Hates Chris | The Game | ALIENS IN AMERICA | DASH 4 CASH
Friday: WWE Smackdown
Sunday: CW NOW | HELL ON EARTH | GOSSIP GIRLS | Veronica Mars, FBI
Second & Third Season Replacements: Wild at Heart Hidden Palms
Supernatural does not need to me moved to an 8pm slot. It needs to stay at 9pm to keep its edgy and darkness that it has built up. Moving it to an earlier timeslot will hurt it creatively and artistically!
I have no problem with the CW moving the show to another night, just as long as it stays at 9pm. While I do not think that the CW will move it from its current timeslot, the only other timeslot I see fitting for Supernatural is Sunday at 9pm. It would lead out the night!
So here is my proposed schedule..
Sunday Nights: 7pm: Wild at Heart 8pm: World According to Barnes/Veronica Mars (mid-season) 9pm: Reaper The only other show I see at Sunday nights at 9pm is Supernatural. And if it is moved, this is the time and day I see it being moved too. It will be able to keep its dark and gritty feel that is has been able to create and grow on since the beginning of the series. Supernatural will be able to grab more viewers than it does in its current time slot, which is tough!!
Monday Nights: 8pm: Everybody Hates Chris 8:30pm: Aliens in America/Girlfriends (mid-season) 9pm: M.I.L.F/The Game (mid-season) 9:30pm: Hell on Earth/Dash 4 Cash (mid-season)
Tuesday nights: 8pm: New Reality series 9pm: Gossip Girls
Wednesday Nights(Fall): 8pm: America's Next Top Model 9pm: One Tree Hill (13 episodes)
Wednesday Nights (Winter): 8pm: Beauty and the Geek 9pm: Paige Armstrong (new show) If Gossip Girls does well on Tuesday nights and is picked up for a full-season, then I can see the CW launching Paige Armstrong during the winter break, to give the network a break from showing repeats.
Wednesday Nights (Spring): 8pm: America's Next Top Model 9pm: Gravity (new show)
Thursday Nights: 8pm: Smallville 9pm: Supernatural I do not see the CW messing with its current timeslot of Smallville and Supernatural. It is working for the network, so why mess with something that is working? If it ain't broke, don't fix!!! If it does tinker with Thursday nights, I see "The Reaper" moving into Supernatural's old-time slot and Supernatural moving to Sunday nights at 9pm.
With the recent pull backs of OTH and GG episodes til later on this season, one would think that VM would suddenly have a chance for renewal. I actually think the pull back of the GG and OTH opens up the possibility of more 7th Heaven. If 7th Heaven would return, I could see the CW canning VM, GG, and OTH to pay for it. So here is my lineup with that in mind.
Sunday: repeats (they won't have the money for a lot of new shows) 7th Heaven Wild at Heart
Monday: new comedy Chris Girlfriends/new comedy new comedy/the Game *either Girlfriends or the Game is back, but not both.
Tuesday: Gossip Girls Supernatural
Wednesday: Top Model/Beauty and the Geek new drama
Thursday: Smallville new drama (Reaper or World According to Barnes?)
Monday: - Everybody Hates Chris - Hell On Earth - Eight Days a Week - MILF and Cookies
Tuesday: - Reaper - Supernatural
With the most likely scenario being both Gilmore Girls and VM heading out, the CW can re-vamp Tuesdays with a genre night, which may hold up better against Idol come January.
Wednesday (Sept. - Jan): - ANTM/BATG or New Reality - Gossip Girl
Wednesday (Jan - May): - BATG or New Reality/ANTM - OTH (final season)
Rather than let Idol steamroll any momentum Gossip Girl might have picked up in the fall, air the final season of OTH instead, which, because it is the final season, may have a little more traction against AI than usual.
Thursday: - Smallville - The World According to Barnes
I'm hesitant on this one, but perhaps Barnes could be a good fit with SV, without too much crossover with the CSI audience (which I think skews slightly older than Barnes would).
My rationale for transferring the comedies to Thursday, and breaking up Smallville and Supernatural over two nights was to transfter their audience drawing power to other nights and maintain roughly equivalent numbers for the comedies.
Smallville would fit nicely on Monday in the hour before Heroes, and Supernatural needs to find a long-term companion show now that Smallville is in its final season(s). It did very well on Tuesdays previously, and Buffy-Angel-Roswell established the tradition for this type of show working well on Tuesdays.
On UPN, the Monday comedies did better than the Thursday comedies, about 25% in the winter/spring seasons. But otherwise, they were pretty equivalent nights.
UPN Mondays 2005-06 (HH/%share): fall 2.3/3% winter 2.0/3% spring 1.8/3% summer 1.2/2%
UPN Thursdays 2005-06(HH/%share): fall 2.2/3% winter 1.6/3% spring 1.4/3% summer 1.1/2%
With the most likely scenario being both Gilmore Girls and VM heading out, the CW can re-vamp Tuesdays with a genre night, which may hold up better against Idol come January.
Reaper and Supernatural would make a nice contrast. Reaper is much lighter in tone compared to Supernatural.

But having Gossip Girl off the air for half a season would also kill any momentum it has. Since One Tree Hill is already dead, the American Idol death comet can't really kill it anymore.

I agree with Wenart, Supernatural Does need to stay at 9pm to keep it's dark edgy feel to it. I don't want to see them change things around to accommodate the 8pm Family Hour.
Sunday Nights:
7pm: Cw Now 7:30pm: Hell On Earth 8pm: Spellbound 9pm: Supernatural
I could very well see this combination working for The CW on Sunday night. They had a great success with Charmed and well this could help Supernatural.
Monday Nights: 8pm: Everybody Hates Chris 8:30pm: Girlfriends 9pm: The Game (Possibly) 9:30pm: Dash 4 Cash
Tuesday nights:
8pm: The World According to Barnes 9pm: Gossip Girls
Wednesday: 8pm: America's Next Top Model/BATG 9pm: One Tree Hill
Thursday Nights:
8pm: Smallville 9pm: Reaper
However; I do not see them moving around what is working for them. Smallville and Supernatural work well together.. They really have other nights to worry about other than Thursday Night. Why Fix it if it isn't broken.
Friday Nights: 8-10 pm: Friday Night Smackdown
Midseason Shows: I am Paige Armstrong, Gravity, M.I.L.F,and Veronica Mars

Prison Break airs at 8. The 8pm issues are over.
You can not compare Prison Break to Supernatural.. They are two totally different shows.
I do not want Supernatural to become a family type show, I like it dark and edgy. It's about Hunting Ghosts and Spirits, with a darker edge.
It needs to stay at 9pm..
Prison Break is light and fluffy. More for the 8pm hour. It would be like Heroes going to 8pm, that wouldn't work for that type of show.
