Thank you SO much! Though this may not be even 50% accurate

I would kind of be worried if The CW actually does have Wild At Heart as a lead-in for Tuesday. Wouldn't an established do better, since it already has viewer support...
On the CW? I don't think they have anything besides ANTM and Smallville that could pass as "established". OTH and Supernatural would be disasters as lead-ins.
I'll wait till the 17th this is no more accurate then something we made in the CW Proposed Line-up thread.
I saw one that said that Everwood would be back on Mondays a 8/7c and that Reba and Nick Lachey's sitcom would be on Sundays, no Top Model encore, and Half & Half in place of All of Us. Hmmm... wait that line-up is better then the fall CW lineup we got.
I still hope Veronica Mars comes back I know it's dead. Hopefully they will bring it back at midseason if not in the fall. If they do keep Girfriends/The Game at the 9 pm hour they should switch. The Game builds from Girlfriends and Girlfriends reached 3 million at 9:30 last Monday.

I too hold out hope for the return of Veronica Mars, in any form (even a couple of two-hour movies would sate me).
I think the show sits atop the most delicate, precarious bubble of any series being considered for renewal on any of the six broadcast networks.
I do not think The CW has made a final decision on Veronica Mars or their final pick-ups, and they released "it's back on the bubble" talk yesterday to quell the wildfire spreading across the Internet and being picked up by traditional news media that the show had already been renewed.
Down to the wire this renewal decision shall go, and it may even be influenced by the eleventh hour ratings data from this Tuesdays episode. A strong mid-2.0s in W18-34 plus a rebound in viewership to the 2.5-3 million range, and that might tip the balance.
In our pifeedback poll, our own collective wisdom is split into two camps...49% favour renewal, 51% favour cancellation. I think in the boardrooms of The CW, the many voices whispering in the ear of Ms. Ostroff are just as conflicted as we are here on the fate of Veronica Mars.

To be Honest I don't think Supernatural would be a disaster as a lead in. It did well last year before it was moved into the 9pm death slot... I think moving Supernatural to an earlier time if it can be done would work towards it's advantage.
I don't know about Supernatural, but One Tree Hill proved last season that it's not capable of anchoring a night. It needs the support of a strong leadin.

Don't count Supernatural out!
I would agree to your statement if the CW didn't feed Supernatural to the Unholy King and Queen of Thursday nights, however with the current ratings, I am not sure that Supernatural can successfully lead into a night.

Well out of the 9pm programming Supernatural has the highest retention rates and is in the most competitive year round hour on television (of course with fianl sweeps scheduling to maximize viewership in the last two weeks the highest has been Tuesday at 9).
But if you look at just the last two weeks of the 3 scripted shows at 9. and their lead ins at 8. Supernatural has the smallest leadin audience ana verage of 3.51 compared to Wednesday's leadin with 5.08 million, and then Tuesdays lead in with 4.04.
Retention rates for the 9pm hour on Thursdays has averaged to 86%.
For Wednesday to 61%
For Tuesday to 52%.
A lot of the guess work if Supernatural is moved to a leadhour would be on Sundays at 8, where teh competition is considerable less. Almost 15 million fewer viewers.
Out of the two shows that that you might even consider (one Tree HIll and Supernatural), One Tree Hill has both had higher and ower viewer totals (I think the season average is slightly lower, but I might be in error).
But its retetion seems to indicate that it wouldn't be the better candidate as a 8pm show.
Whie Supernatural has a far mroe consistent viewership totals for the season, on a season long highly competitive night. And it shows with the difference between the 8pm to the 9pm viewership totals of usually ten million more viewers turning in that it has the better shot, to not only keep the majority of its viewers on a switch of day and time. But also might have the better chance to get new sampling.
But will CW risk losing consistency ont he night that generates the most in ad revenue?
I kind of hope so, but I am also skeptical.
I think they might try it and depending on how teh 9pm thursday show does and how Sunday fares to this year, will determine if they keep it that way.
Monday Everybody Hates Chris Aliens in America (new) Wild at Heart (new) A family oriented night to get the 7th Heaven-Everwood audiences back.
Tuesday The Gossip Girl Girlfriends The Game A heavily female-oriented night, flip the two time slots if necessary or replace the 2nd hour with a drama or reality.
Wednesday America's Next Top Model/Search for the Next Doll/America's Next Top Model One Tree Hill/Crowned/One Tree Hill or new show Still a guilty pleasure night.
Thursday Smallville Reaper (new) Pretty boys fighting scare things night.
Friday WWE Smackdown! Umm.... think of something witty and pretend I wrote it.
Saturday Off the air Why bother on this night when other networks just show repeats?
Sunday CW Now (new) Hell on Earth (new) Supernatural (new night & time) Veronica Mars: FBI (new night) Trying to get those Charmed fans back.
Midseason *8 Days a Week *Dash 4 Cash 2 back up comedies because I don't have a lot of faith left in Girlfriends and even less in The Game
*Beauty and the Geek It's one of our reality staples, but I think The Pussycat Dolls present should fill in between Top Model cycles.
*Crowned I hope this doesn't see the light of day, but its cheap reality programming.
*Spellbound *The World According to Barnes These our drama back-up, but one could be cut if Hidden Palms proves to be a success during the summer.
