Nikki reporting that the Game and 90210 picked up. No official word yet on Reaper although others have said its renewed. Wednesdays will go all reality so my guess is that Reaper is Friday bound with Chris and the Game. How f'd up is that?
But why are they putting all of their new shows on in the fall? Shouldn't they hold some off for midseason? I mean...I would think that Reaper might be a good idea for a mid-season replacement show, in case one of their new shows does not do well.
Peace!

Because with the shortened pilot season, they really have no choice.
Its either throw everything out of the gate, or renew such low cost, but very low performing shows like Pussycat, Beauty and the Geek, and Farmer.
The other possibility is a lack of funds to generate extra programming. If so that will hurt. If that isn't a huge issue and they do hae some cash to still generate pilots through the fall, then that allows them the possibility of getting something developed for mid season.
Monday-Gossip Girl/ Beverly Hills Tuesday-Rich Girls/One Tree Hill Wednesday-Tyra's two reality programs are probably a solid lock. Stylista/Top Model Thursday-Smallville/ Supernatural (there is some thought on whether they might give up Thursday and go aggressive on Friday, but I seriously doubt it. Friday-Chris/Game/ and I would guess Reaper
But it is also possible that Reaper might be saved as a 13 issue mid season replacement and they use the other hour of Friday for either some cheap reality show or a rerun from one of the other shows.
If they give over Friday to their perceived weakest performing shows then I think thats what Friday will look like.

I'm thinking the same thing except the two shows on Tuesday are flipped.

Any news on Austin Golden Hour yet it seems as that show is getting the backburner. l think it is the only show beside ANTM than can be attached with the comedies.
l was wondering if there has been any news on the future of Austin Golden Hour, even midseason maybe because if the cw is smart they would know that they dont need 4 hours dedicated to teen crap. l think this is the only show besides ANTM that is closely compatible with their comedies.

From what I've read I don't think it will get picked up. It sounded like an ok show to me.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo..............Only in Midseason
No I think this is a good thing. The only place it would've ended up in the fall was Fridays. That would be disastrous. Now it can air Thursdays with Supernatural at midseason and the CW will be able to have a nearly repeat free final season for Smallville leading into new Reaper in March. It could also I guess return at midseason and replace what will likely be failure in either Stylista, 90210, or Rich Girls. Take your pick. They will be lucky in my opinion to outdo Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill, which may be the CW's strongest drama next fall. Who would've thought it two years ago when people were talking of how downright pathetic those numbers were on the CW's Wednesday?!

THURSDAYS 8pm Smallville 9pm Supernatural
FRIDAYS 8pm Everybody Hates Chris 8:30pm The Game 9pm Top Model ENCORE
How lame and uninspired!
Completely agree but aside from moving Stylista to Friday and finding a midweek home for Reaper, it couldn't have gotten any better. And actually, 90210 will air Mondays with Gossip Girl. Rich Girls will air after One Tree Hill on Tuesdays. I heard B&tG was canceled but if I were the CW, I would renew it for Wednesdays at midseason at 8 and go back to the original format. Hopefully Austin Golden Hour also ends up in this schedule somehow. While I'm not fond of a Greys wannabe, the show sounds like it has more substance to it than Rich Girls.
