Of course I would want Veronica Mars to come back in the fall at this point though I would take anything. It really is the show that won't die. Not that that is a bad thing. Wild at Heart could do will Sundays Beauty and the Geek could bomb on Tuesdays though.

Yeah, they tried that this season, and we see what happened. Although, BATG starting during the non-Idol time of the year could change things.

As for VM's absence, I wonder if the first schedule was from earlier in the week. We only just started hearing cancellation rumors again on Friday morning. So, that first leaked schedule was probably from a day or so earlier.

You should be happy OTH won't have to face Idol in the spring. This schedule is a mess. The CW better pray that Gossip Girl is a big hit because they are in dire need of one at this point.

I have more confidence in a BatG/OTH combo than a WAH/Supernatural combo. What the hell are they thinking with that? I hope that's erroneous!

Does this mean there will be 2 cycles of Beauty and the Geek?

Could work like the Gilmore Girls/Supernatural combo worked last season.

But Gilmore Girls is more adult and they had the Jared connection. I read someone describe Wild at Heart as the brady bunch in South Africa. Needless to say, doesn't seem like the most compatible lead-in for Supernatural.

Don't forget the WB had a 7th Heaven/Angel night for one season, and both shows actually did quite well. There's no predicting how these combinations work out. I mean, GG/VM seemed like a perfect match, and we see how that turned out.

And no way do I see a mid-season pick-up for VM. That cast and crew is not gonna sit around and wait. They're going to want to move on. It's fall or nothing.

You guys are forgetting one thing here. Despite Supernatural being a horror show, it's also a show about family and devotion..

Wild At Heart could prove to be compatible. I heard the pilot was good. I don't see a whole lot of options here for Supernatural. If they want to move it. I want them to move it. Thursday's are a blood bath...

The only other option is a Reality Show of some kind leading into Supernatural.

I was told by more than one person if Supernatural aired on another night they would watch it.

Wild at Heart seems like the wrong show to be paired with Supernatural. Keep Veronica Mars unless you want Supernatural to fail due to an incompatible show. Veronica, her mysteries and snarky comments is closets in tone. Either that or do this:

Tuesday (a night where Rory's old boyfriends have their own shows)
8/7c One Tree Hill
9/8c Supernatural

Sunday ("news" + reality + reality + family drama)
7/6c CW Now
7:30/6:30c Viewsers
8/7c Beauty & the Geek
9/8c Wild at Heart

Keeping VM isn't going to help any show on the schedule. Supernatural could lead out of 3rd time resurrected 7th Heaven and gain more than they would from VM.
