Reports out there that this is the last cycle of Beauty & the Geek. While not canceled, it will be placed on extended hiatus.

Not surprised. Ratings for that show is awful this season.

They never should have tried to make this a regular series rather than using it as between season filler for ANTM. I know it was the best WB had to offer as 'reality tv', but it really wasn't a very good concept to repeat season after season and the changes made in the last few rounds have only accellerated its decline.

I agree. The low viewer turn out for the summer repeats and the abysmal first run attempt in the fall should have been an indication that the novelty of the show had worn off.

Maybe if the CW gets desperate for programming, it'll turn up again or MTV or VH1 will want it.

I think that CW is desperate enough to get program from MTV or VH1, not the other way around. Wink

Have you not noticed how many hours per week MTV/VH1 devote to re-airing America's Next Top Model?
