Sometime last fall/winter when they pushed it off the season's CW schedule and decided to burn it off over the summer.

Well, Obveeus is right. As for when the "official" cancellation comes, next Wednesday 1 second after 9:00.

Given the ratings, I would expect The CW to put the show on hiatus while they figure out whether there will be another season.

Has anyone heard if further scripts have been ordered?

Why would they order more scripts? Seriously, the CW decided this show was done before the first episode ever aired. They took it off the schedule and moved it to summer burnoff. It has had horrible ratings. Earlier this week one of the main characters got moved over to play the dad on Life Is Wild. How much more evidence of Hidden palm's demise is needed?

Not officially, but it's definitely over.

Because they know that they aren't going to bring it back. It all depends how you want to define "official".

I'd say the official decision was made around June 15 or about the time the CW realized that even with virtually no competition, new episodes of Hidden Palms make reruns of the canceled series Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls look good.

given the ratings, I'd expect it to have hit the dumpster in mid-June at the latest.

I'll GUESS that if any new scripts were ordered, they're either already in the can or won't be used at all.
