The show previously known as Wizard's First Rule (another Sam Raimi product) will now be called Legend of the Seeker and will air on CW Saturday nights?
The article says syndication, so I am guessing that it won't be carried by all CW stations. Also, the article says it will go to CW's 'leased block', but also refers to the block as Saturday. I hadn't previously heard the CW Saturday being referred to as a block leased back to the local stations. I thought that the local stations always had control of CW saturdays...so I'm really not sure if this article is hinting at this show beinga 'near national' CW Saturday aired syndicated show or if they were trying to suggest that some CW stations will be putting this show into the early hours of CW's Sunday block (leased back by MRC). P.S. I changed the title of this thread from a '.' to a '?' as I originally intended for it to read.
I did a news search on MRC/CW this morning and found a second source to verify that the Legend of the Seeker is intended for Saturday programming.
I also came across a recent story that MRC has signed M. Night Shyamalan to a 3 movie deal over the next 3 years. These guys are really aiming for a big splash into the Entertainment industry over the next few years.
