Sunday:
5 to 6- Encores (perhaps two comedies and a drama?)
7- Reality/drama encores (if they REALLY have to have encores, that is)
8- Everybody Hates Chris
8:30- The Game
9- Aliens in America
9:30- NEW COMEDY (8 Days a Week?)

Monday:
8- Gossip Girl
9- NEW DRAMA (How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls?)

Tuesday:
8- One Tree Hill
9- NEW DRAMA (90210 spin-off?)

Wednesday:
8- ANTM/B&G
9- NEW DRAMA (The Collection?)

Thursday:
8- Smallville
9- NEW DRAMA (Justin Hartley project)

Friday:
8- Supernatural
9- Reaper

Honestly, I don't even know if The CW can afford this schedule. But I don't know what else they can do; I'll be interested to see what they came up with. I figured they would probably keep airing repeats on Sunday, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it will be an all-comedy night, with two new comedies before EHC. Whatever the case, I don't think it would be wise for The CW to keep returning shows together like they are (i.e., Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, Smallville and Supernatural). They're already pretty low-rated anyway, so why fracture Tuesday and Friday completely? The CW has some serious thinking to do, with the loss of Smackdown, the network's only real "hit," unfortunately. I think Gossip and Hill need to be separated for the fall schedule to work; they each have to try their hands at launching new shows, because otherwise Tuesday and Friday will do terribly with only new shows. Of course, this is assuming that Reaper does not end up on Tuesdays. I really think it would do better paired with Supernatural, and I think that Supernatural should get away from Smallville so that Smallville can launch a new show before it ends (which will probably be next year). There are so many factors, though. I wouldn't want to be The CW right now. Really...I don't picture The CW surviving much longer. It's sad. The network started out with some potential, when it was announced; but then they ruined that a few weeks later, didn't they?

So your plan is to kill Reaper and Supernatural completely and then launch two more failures on Sundays?

Agreed, unless The CW has a big promotion for the two series on Friday nights, it wont work. Knowing The CW, this wont happen, so they wont put it on Friday. Although they have done stupider things.

Yeah, I kind of wish they'd move the comedies to Friday. The WB had a pretty good thing going with comedies on Fridays. Grr. This is so frustrating.

And hey, good call on the Supernatural/Reaper Friday. I just don't know what else they could do besides move the comedies or have a night of completely new shows (which I don't think they would do). Something's got to give. I know Friday is the slot of death, but they don't have much to go on at this point; they can't be expecting much anyway, so whatever Supernatural and Reaper got on Fridays, if that's what happened, they should be happy. The comedies could go either way, though. I really hope Aliens comes back, but I know they don't really have a reason to do that other than the fact that they have a crap development slate. It's a really smart show, better than I thought it would be when I heard about it. There's a lot of Deconstruction/Post-Structuralism in it; I'm actually writing a paper about it. LOL.

You signature is always good for a laugh. You say 'just say no to Reality TV', yet you listed 6 shows on your viewing schedule for tonight and none of them are scripted. How you can delude yourself into thinking shows like Moment of Truth and invitational Poker games aren't 'reality TV' is beyond me.

If you call Reba propping up the whole night a good thing then I guess I agree.
