I wonder if the CW would pick up shows that other networks might cancel this season because of the strike that would fit there target demo if so I could them picking up Friday Night Lights from NBC and October Road from ABC. Here is my schedule based on that, just for fun.

There is very little chance that CW would pick up any other networks castoffs. However, if you want to consider that possibility you should realize that there is zero chance that CW would pick up either of the shows mentioned above since FNL is from NBC Universal Studios and October Road is from ABC Studios. If CW was going to pick up a cancelled show, I think it would have to be something cancelled that belongs to either CBS Studios or to Warner Bros Studios and that those studios would want to push toward syndication.
Some possible (possible that they would be cancelled) shows that CW could pick up: Medium, Pushing Daisies, Moonlight, or Men in Trees. Personally, I think that the first 3 will be renewed by their current networks and the last, MiT, is not worth it for CW.

Other shows that they might consider, but should reject: Notes From the Underbelly and Jericho.

Oops, that was my mistake. While copy and pasting the schedule, I messed up. It should be Smallville at 8, Supernatural at 9.

I like your schedule because it will give viewers more options than a lot reality episode repeats, which the CW seems to do a lot. To me, that is waisting valuable timeslots that could go to other shows.

Peace!!

I agree. CW will probably still have reality in development, but in my opinion, it should be used as mid-season fillers or to replace an underperforming show. That way the reality shows won't burn out over time.

I won't name new shows because that practice to me is ridiculous because we really have no clue what's inside the mind of Dope Ostroff and Moonvest. Here's my thoughts:

Sundays:
Supernatural Beginnings
Chris
Aliens in America
Reaper

Mondays:
Gossip Girl
One Tree Hill

Tuesdays:
Supernatural
new drama

Wednesdays:
Top Model/B&tG/Top Model
The Game
new comedy

Thursdays:
Smallville
new drama

Fridays:
WWE Smackdown

Use Smallville and Supernatural: the two "strongest dramas" to launch new dramas. If one of the new dramas is very female skewing and ABC rescheds Private Practice for elsewhere, then move a new drama to Wed. at 9 and relocate Reaper to Tuesdays and the comedies to Sundays.

Why not split up Smallville and Supernatural already? The CW needs launching tools. If Supernatural is as strong as fans claim it is (and I think its certainly as strong as OTH on its own) then its time to use it to launch a promising new drama.
