Like ABC, the CW really needs the strike to end so they can get more original porgramming back on the air. They still have some new episodes left of many of their shows, but only a few.

Lucky for them, the return of America's Next Top Model will equate with a 20% or better increase in the total weekly viewer number as well as the demo.

These numbers are terrible! I know there has been an increase in DVR usage with them going down in price and all the TiVo clones that have come out, but this is just pathetic. Four years ago, UPN or the WB would have canceled 2/3 of the network. The CW for some reason can't launch a show to save themselves. Even their "success" of the Pussycat Dolls is only a positive when compared to how bad other show are/were doing. Repeats of shows from the WB (Smallville, Supernatural, One Tree Hill) are out ranking new episodes of their new shows (Crowned, Gossip Girl, Reaper, CW Now).

I wonder if the difference in these two episode's ratings concerns CW at all? They have been 'sure' that The Game is outperforming Girlfriends, but these numbers show the distinct possibility that the difference was timeslot based. Now, with everything moving to Sunday that timeslot difference is gone.

They (The CW) should think of shows that are for Adults 18-49 or above...not too much Teen Dramas! too much of them sickens me!

Supernatural was outstanding in the demo! The show did well, but ANTM is still the real demo champ for CW.

I think some of the Sunday offerings are given the wrong time-length, as well.

I'd be worried if I worked for the CW. Top Model's novelty seems to be wearing off and with Smackdown now going to their competitor MyNetworkTV...

It might have been wise to have dumped Smackdown when moving to the CW and saving a few more sitcoms or dramas.
