Hmmm... CW now is improving.

I think that CW could be salvaged if they: changed the format and expanded it to an hour long, added comedians to do commentary on the cw shows that week like VH1's Best Week Ever, had the latest CW reality show eliminated contestant on for an exit interview, and maybe showed cuts scenes or bloopers shows.

Crowned is really screwing with GOSSIP GIRL ratings...they need a better lead in!!!

You can say that again!!! OTH is getting a SECOND ENCORE of crowned as a lead-in! The CW is slaughtering its good shows UGH!! let's hope they'll get to their senses and at least replace the second encore with something better. Id even prefer a smallville encore over an original of crowned.

But just curious, if they (Time Warner and CBS Corp.) want The CW to show tough competition why not spend a portion of the money that they have for The CW shows? The mighty "WB" has indeed fallen. CW PLANS MIDSEASON MAKEOVER

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The CW has announced its post-strike schedule, which as expected includes new seasons of "Pussycat Dolls Present," "Beauty and the Geek" and "America's Next Top Model."

Said seasons will anchor the netlet's Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday lineups, respectively.

In addition, new time periods have also been set for "Gossip Girl" (Mondays at 8:00/7:00c starting January 28) and its comedy quartet (Sundays at 8:00/7:00c starting February 10).

Furthermore, "Reaper" will return to the schedule on Tuesday, January 15 at 8:00/7:00c before sliding to Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c on February 28. ("Supernatural" will have completed airing its first-run episodes by said date.)

To review, here's a complete breakdown of the aforementioned plans:

OTH is certainly stable enough to stick around. The question is why it was left off the fall schedule in the first place, especially when they were already losing GG and 7th Heaven? Imagine how a Gossip Girl and OTH Tuesday from the get go could've grown. Smallville and Christ repeat did alright. Notice how Chris remains the strongest Monday comedy. Imgaine if they had something to actually pair with it.

not having any luck finding this weeks press release from the CW concerning OTH. Anyone have a copy? I'm always curious on how they spin the numbers (always sounds so pretty) I think the numbers were pretty good concidering silly AI.

btw. I shall admit it, I am pleasantly surprised with this season. I really wasn't looking forward to this season from the spoilers I've read (they are all correct so I'm still cringing for later on) but so far much better than last year.
