i say move privileged to wendsdays at 9:00 dureing November or december and put reaper after 90210.

Wendsday-

8:00 ANTM

9:00 privileged

It could replace stylista when its over.

tuesday

8:00 90210

9:00 Reaper

reaper always did do well in this timeslot and with a good timeslot itll do better.

They should not touch it yet. If it performs anything like Gossip Girl did over its first season, you have to give it time. And as it stands, Reaper would be lost behind 90210.

Fringe VS Reaper, yeah, I don't think that will work.

Maybe when both Wednesdays reality shows have finished, they'll do:

8:00 13-Fear is Real
9:00 Reaper

or

Wed
8:00 13-Fear is Real
9:00 Smallville (encores)

Thurs
8:00 Reaper (season two)
9:00 Supernatural

Privileged I think is safe since 90210 is nose diving in terms of viewers (40% I think) and Privileged has only lost about 20%. It has the advantage because the CW doesn't have much else to replace it with unless it wants to air Top Model 3 times a week or encore another show.

What should the CW do with "Privileged"? Replace it with something worth watching.

Have you ever even watched "Privileged"?

I watched it enough to know that it is better than Fringe and that it isn't 'another Gossip Girl' type show. If it had a Fringe sized sampling of viewers, it would keep enough of them to be CW's #1 show. Since it won't get that sampling, it has to hope that CW is very patient this year and willing to hang on to a low rated show with 'older skewing' demos.

Wasn't an 'older' audience the reason the CW didn't want Everwood and the excuse they used to give Reba the boot? Yeah, they should learn from these mistakes, but I don't think they have. Privileged may have fallen again in viewers, but 90210 has fallen even further (percentage wise) and it got 9 more episodes ordered. Don't worry. If anything, they could swap time slots with the Friday reality encore and Privileged.

No. Everwood was cancelled because they thought Supernatural, One Tree Hill, 7th Heaven, and Veronica Mars all had more potential. Reba was cancelled because it cost a ton of money.

I hope they give it time SOMEWHERE...be it in the current timeslot, or in a new one. I was actually really surprised with this show. It is good.

I do not remember it this way.

The CW went into the upfront week with a plan to go another season of Everwood, prepared marketing materials, even mocked up a new CW Everwood website.

The surprisingly large audience for the '7th Heaven' WB finale prompted The CW to go into eleventh hour negotiations for a last-minute renewal of that series.

When '7th Heaven' got the surprise reprieve, the programming budget didn't allow for both series to go forward, so 'Everwood' was not picked up for another season.

From my perspective, the renewal decisions for 'Supernatural', 'One Tree Hill', 'Reba' and 'Veronica Mars' were all arrived at independently of the '7th Heaven' or 'Everwood' renewal decision.

Concerning the formation of the CW and deciding what series would be picked up or canceled, I thought that it was the quasi-"Smallville" spin-off series starring Justin Hartley as Aquaman that was sacrificed for the last second renewal of "7th Heaven".

"Reba" was a series that the CW literally got stuck with. Prior to the beginning of its final season the WB, that network had renewed it for two seasons (not knowing that the WB wouldn't be around in two seasons). While the CW didn't really want the sitcom, the penalty for not producing the episodes proved to be too high so the CW reluctantly agreed to air the final season.

Concerning the fate of "Privileged"...

I would at least let the series run its entire 13 episodes, if for no other reason than the CW's mid-season bench is again woefully thin. However, that does not mean it has to be left in the post-"90210" slot.

If the CW feels it must move "Privileged", this is what I would suggest...

Tuesday
8:00 90210
9:00 Stylista (beginning on Oct. 28)

Wednesday
8:00 America's Next Top Model
9:00 Privileged

The upcoming "Stylista" would still get a "preview" airing following "Model" on Wednesday, Oct. 22 before settling into its new Tuesday slot the following week. "Privileged" would then take over the post-"Model" slot on Oct. 29.

I don't like this idea at all. Why would you use the premiere spot on CW's schedule (the leadout from ANTM) on a show that skews old and is already a very weak performer?

Stylista is a perfect idea for the post ANTM timeslot. They are both competition reality TV shows that link in with the fashion industry. Moreover, Stylista will be slipping into the timeslot for Project Runway right after that show's season ends, so fans of the genre will have a new show to watch.

Agreed Reba was ended due to money. I'm still at a guess though as to how they thought Everwood would do worse than those other shows when Everwood had outrated all of them, even when it didn't have a big lead in.

That may have been the reasoning but its still stupid. It was a proven fact Everwood had more fans than any of those other shows, especially Veronica Mars and One Tree Hill. Even dumber was the reason not to give Everwood a midseason slot. The CW has made cheap programming decisions from day one, even when they claimed they would have the added benefit of both the WB and UPN powers that be when it started.
