After alomst 10 years off Network TV and 12-13 years in sytndication, it is still a 10 ten show in syndication.
It has outlasted more recent shows like Everybody Love Raymond, Friends, Will & Grace and Fraiser.

It is truely one of the all time Classics, ranking up there with Cheers, Andy Griffith SHow and Dick Van Dyke with staying power and longevity(sp)

I think having Two and a Half Men in syndication has helped it in the ratings very well. I don't recall it repeating this well before. Especially on a Wednesday at 8pm.

If people think new shows have a hard time in primetime, then take a look at syndication. 2.5 Men and Family Guy may be doing well, but they're the highest rated series to enter syndication since Dr. Phil debuted, what, 5 years ago? Clearly not a lot of turnover.

You have about 15 cort hsows that dilute the ratings for each other.

Sitcom, on Network TV are way down, so only tose great few, that are far and few between now, are not filling the gap.

We may not see a strong Syndicate Sitcome rerun until BBT hits the market.

Possible. The Office may surprise us, but I doubt it. Earl's buzz seems to have worn off (as have the ratings). BBT may be if CBS doesn't pull an ABC and kill it prematurely.

Which about 8 of them are. In the case of People's Court, it airs an hour already.

In the market where I live, People's Court and Judge Mathis are double-run. Some of the half-hour shows are paired together (David/Maria or Cristina/Alex) and air twice at different times of the day.

I never watched Raymond when it was on during its run, but have caught onto it now. Never thought I'd like it, but it is a very funny show.

I'm the same way about 2 1/2 Men. I didn't watch it seriously until the fourth season, and when it entered syndication, I caught up on the first three seasons.

After that that racially charged outburst by "Kramer" as he shall forever be known I told my self I wouldn't watch that show any more . . .but I lied the show is still funny and his career is still washed up and he is still a laughing stock and an embarrassment . . .so all is right in the world . What can I say Seinfield is universally funny to everyone for no reason at all. let the laughs continue
