I get the feeling this will people will have either really liked it or really hated it. Personally, I enjoyed it.

Thoughts?

I thought it was better than One Tree Hill and I might watch it again.

Liked it. It's the first CW show
that made me really look forward
to another ep. 7/10.

i really liked it. But its a lot like the OC, so I was expecting it to be good. I really like Kristen Bell as the narrator.

Here is my only gripe about the show, the lead female actress. She is a pretty girl, but her voice gets very irritating.

Other than that, I dont know if I will watch it live over Bionic Woman, but I will definitely tivo the show..

I also was surprised that it was good. It makes me want to keep watching it if they can keep it interesting. Hopefully it will begin to start gaining viewers instead of losing them.

I just wanted to add I thought
there was some decent humor in this.
This and the Bell voiceovers were a
nice counter-balance to the harder-
edged aspects of the show.

After watching the pilot yesterday, I now know I have a major problem with Wed. nights. Way to many new shows that I enjoy! I'm going to have trouble watching all of them: Back to You, Til Death, Kitchen Nightmares, Gossip Girl, Private Practice, Pushing Daisies, and Dirty Sexy Money.

A way better problem than having nothing to watch. Smiler

I'm 38 years old and DVR this show. I don't think it's great, but it's worth 44 min of my time Smiler

I do like many of the actors in it. I'm hoping they really develop the characters well and the series blossoms.

I'm past 38 and it's my first
choice in the hour full of decent
choices.

As far as character development,
I think Blair, Chuck, and Blair's
mother are the best defined characters
so far. Serena is a work in progress,
and her mother is playing it a bit
too stereotyped. Oh, also, the
outsider family is coming along
nicely as well. This is an entertaining,
well-executed yarn up to this point.

The rare show that Bruce and I both like, so it must be good. Wink It's a shame so much of the premiere audience left, because this has turned out to be a better show than its pilot indicated it would be. (Although if you flat-out disliked the pilot, you probably won't go on to love the series)

Actually, you missed one. I just
noticed you made a favorable post
on MAD MEN in the CANE thread.
And MAD MEN is quite good, but
certainly different than most of
these other shows we're talking
about!!

It's fallen behind Criminal Minds and Private Practice for me. Which means if there's any major sporting event going on, it's off my list. I do see creative potential, but thus far have found it just average.
