Why doesn't this show have more viewers, in your opinion? It is easily the funniest new show on TV right now! Perhaps being sandwiched by other sitcoms targeted to black people doesn't help? I just don't get how ratings are so terrible, given the quality of the show.

In my opinion, it doesn't have more viewers for only one reason: it is on the CW.

If Aliens in America were on ABC, NBC, CBS, or FOX, it would be pulling in 6-8 million viewers right now. Unfortunately, a lot of TV watchers would rather watch a rerun of something they have already seen a half dozen times on another netowrk than tune in to CW network and give any show a viewing.

It really belongs on Fox with their Sunday animated block, ala Malcolm in the Middle. In fact, Everybody Hates Chris does too imo.
