That was part of a Friday night disaster one year when CBS thought they should steal the dying Family Matters and Step by Step from ABC's TGIF. The other show that aired that night was the Gregory Hines Show. It was also a flop. The ridiculous part about Family Matters was that they had a new actress play the mom for like the last 7 or 8 episodes of the series. It was confusing and the episodes were downright awful. The show ended if I remember with what we all knew would happen: Laura choosing Urkle and the Mom character being used as little as possible.

No we can't. Most of the people here haven't even seen 75% or more of the shows on the list so how can you possibly say "safely say" that a show from this year is the worse show ever. Perhaps you can lay claim to worse show of the year. (Although, I'd still take exception to that given that Caveman was on this year as well.) quote: Originally posted by TV-aholic: I think we can safely say that Viva Laughlin is the worst show ever. I took over 25% of the votes, as of April 17th.
of course this could all change by next fall when the networks give us "Their Best" new shows.

I agree with Xwiseguy. I turned 60 since I last posted in this thread, & there aren't too many older shows I at least didn't sample in the winter.(Summers I was outdoors mosta the time, Falls I was practicing/playing football)
Well, lessee...In the 80s, there was After Mash, which followed some of the M.A.S.H. chars after the Korean War ended. To me, it stunk, and lotsa others thought so, too; it didn't last too long. (But it was aired against A-Team, what did they expect?)
I remember something called Hello Larry about a divorced DJ and his teenage daughters. I remember I only watched it a coupla times & it was about as funny as a flat tire on a mud road.
Sometime in the late 1970s, there was Billy[/b], a strange, unfunny, tasteless show about a mortician's clerk, a show that lasted but a few weex, thankfully. I THINK(but won't swear) it was on CBS.
Lessee, I remember [i]Rango, a Tim Conway show about an inept Texas Ranger. I know it was in 1967 cuz I was then in the Navy. It was definitely NOT the high point of TC's career.
Chevy Chase had a show on Fox that had a short run in the early '90s. It was not the high point of CC's career, either.
Lemme quit this post with a red flag that tells me "This show's prolly gonna stink"...IF IT HAS 'CELEBRITY' IN ITS TITLE!

Neither Viva Laughlin nor Cavemen were the worst shows of this season currently underway. Worst shows from this season would have to be: Cane (CBS), Phenomenon (NBC), Duel (ABC), Moment of Truth (FOX), NFL Total Access (MNT), Crowned (CW)

Poppycock - Cane, Duel and Moment of Truth are highly watchable shows. To be a worst show, it needs to be unwatchable. Moment of Truth would be in my Top 10 favs for the year. quote: Originally posted by dumont: Worst shows from this season would have to be: Cane (CBS), Phenomenon (NBC), Duel (ABC), Moment of Truth (FOX), NFL Total Access (MNT), Crowned (CW)

I only watched it once, and I couldn't last out the entire episode, but since its your favourite and your inclinations are worthy, I shall pick another FOX show for my worst-of-the-year list...Next Great American Band.

Thank you Dumont. We now can agree together on the worst FOX show - Next Great American Band. quote: Originally posted by dumont: quote: Originally posted by xwiseguyx: Poppycock - Cane, Duel and Moment of Truth are highly watchable shows. I haven't seen Farmer Takes A Wife, but I have to admit, the promos do look enticing in a "so bad it's funny" as opposed to a "so bad it's bad" kind of way. quote: Originally posted by robycop3: Worst of the past year?(Latter part of '07-present, might cut a little slack backwards) IMO In no particular order) Viva Laughlin Farmer Wants a Wife Notes From The Underbelly Armed & Famous Quarterlife(One-Ep Wonder) Nashville Anchorwoman(One-Ep Wonder) Cavemen Creature Comforts
