I suspect it means it will showcase the ratings battle between ABC's shows and CBS's shows that will occur after football is done in February (i.e. that NBC will be a non-player during the World Series because it's not airing football, and will be a non-player after the football season is over, so it'll be interesting to see where those viewers go). This isn't taking into account that the World Series actually gets pretty good ratings, usually, so it'll probably just be the football viewers jumping over to FOX for whoever is in the Fall Classic (though, depending on which teams play, we can probably still expect Desperate Housewives to win the night).
