It seems to mee that sci fi and thrillers do the best in warmer months. This springs line up includes a movie about the Green River killings and another about some scary ancient ruins among others. Gritty? eh maybe Freaky and possible a lil' scary, most certainly.
I remember when stories came out about the Green River Killer. It happened really close to where my aunt lives. I actually got an email from her telling me that Lifetime is going to be airing a miniseries about it starting this Sunday. I think it still has a pretty big affect on her.

Starts at 8 right? I hope its not too "gritty" I wouldn't want your aunt to have a panic attack. Or are the affects of those events on her more like some kind of a lingering obsession.
