I like that show "are You Smarter than A 5th grader. I think another show like that that would do well is one dealing with kids and who they consider strangers. Like a kind of what would your kid do in situation X. There are a lot of creeps out there and I think that could be more a focus for parents and their children.

As in will your kid get in a van with a stranger? How would they show it? By sending some one to try and lure your child? I don't know if that would make for very good TV. If you really want to scare a parent into a frenzy they should just watch some old Dr.Phil episodes. If you want to make children weary of strangers then just read them stories about real life murderers and child butchers like the Ogre of the Ardennes from news clippings or better yet Chasing the Devil the book by the cop that it took 20 years and working with Ted Bundy to catch the Green River killer, or any other work of horrific reality.

I agree Jackie deterring children probably wouldn't be best handled by Creating some kind of fake abduction scenario. ha ha that sounds like something that would cause a kid to need therapy or something.I like you r story Idea and apparently so does Lifetime they have made a miniseries out of Chasing the Devil slated for this Sunday at 8p. Its called the Capture of the Green River Killer. Maybe Pamcake can watch it with her kids. LOl j/k

so I decided to actually watch that show that you guys were talking about and it was pretty interesting.. also scary because that it was a true story.. I taped it so I think I'm going to have my kids watch it with me when I get a chance just so they can see what people are capable of..
