Anyone watch FOX News Channel's right wing "comedy". FOX News has pretty much decided that they don't care if america knows they are partly owned by the republican party (satan owns the other half) so they came out with this new comedy show that makes fun of the left.

The reviews are just HORRIBLE. Have a look

Average review from critics across the country: 12 out of 100 ("Extreme Dislike or disgust"

Average rating based on 220 online metacritc vistors: 2.9 out of 10

Have a look at what critics gave it

Miami Herald says "If none of this quite rises to the level of Jon Stewart's intellectual hopscotch or Amy Poehler's inspired lunacy, it's nonetheless agreeably funny."

Miami Herald rating: 60 out of 100

The New York Times says "Sometimes the humor is so heavy-handed that it seems almost like self-parody."

The New York Times Rating: 30 out of 100

The Hollywood Reporter says "A look at the first episode suggests that, just as A.M. radio is the unassailable province of the right, TV might better be left to the left."

The Hollywood Reporter rating: 20 out of 100

The Philadelphia Inquirer says "The 1/2 Hour News Hour is slow torture all by itself."

The Philadelphia Inquirer rating: 10 out of 100

Variety says "As for Surnow, in a sense, he's added a program to his resume that neatly dovetails with "24" -- demonstrating that stiff, uninspired comedy isn't exactly torture; it's just not much fun."

Variety rating: 10 out of 100

The Boston Globe says "In truth, there's nothing wrong with partisan humor, as long as it's actually funny. But here, even the less-political jokes are hopelessly obvious or old."

The Boston Globe rating: 10 out of 100

The Chicago Tribune says "The humor is so predictable and so stale that it fails to produce any laughs."

The Chicago Tribune rating: 10 out fo 100

Orlando Sentinel says ""Weekend Update" on its worst night isn't this bad."

Orlando Sentinel rating: 0 out of 100

Slate says "You couldn't skewer a cube of tofu with material this dull."

Slate Rating: 0 out of 100

The Onion A.V. Club says "It's even worse than anyone imagined."

The Onion A.V. Club rating: 0 out of 100

The New Republic says "It's hard not to keep staring perplexed, squinting a little, and uttering, "I don't get it" every few seconds"

The New Republic Rating: 0 out of 100

by the way on "metacritic" no show has EVER gotten under a 20 out of 100 rating. Yes thats right out of every TELEVISION EVENT airing this year FOX News' "The Half Hour News Hour" was by far the worst reviewed EVER! EVER!

The show's an abomination. It comes across as sketch comedy from the writers of The Brady Bunch. I saw Dennis Miller on the show last week. Now I don't agree with his politics, but he's a reasonably intelligent guy. How can he bear to appear on such a brain-dead show, one of the worst-written in history?

Is it a surprise that liberal newspapers would give a Fox News Show a bad review? I guess viewers are disagreeing with you as its cable news' highest rated program on the weekends. Saying Fox News is owned by the Republican party is like saying CNN is the Clinton News Network.

Do your homework Mushu - The Chicago Tribune is not a liberal newspaper ....

They generally endorse the Conservative candidates / Republicans. So you need a new angle on your argument. Or perhaps just admit that you are very biased when it comes to the Fox News Channel. It's OK, we won't think any less of you -Smiler

Okay x, how about this: most of these papers are liberal and wouldn't give this show a chance. I personally have seen it and found a few moments to be funny (mainly the cracks at the ACLU), but overall it was forgettable.

Oh, and yes I do love Fox News and am completely biased towards them and yes, I can't stand MSNBC and their wannabe anchors. So basically you can take from this what you want. Wink

X, what is the general feeling towards the Tribune company in Chicago for trying to sell the Cubbies?

People are happy about any change. The Cubs have been losers under them and they figure anything different would be a good thing. Personally, I took huge issue with the Newspaper owning the sport team and then the additional bias - particularly against the White Sox.

LOL. I'm a Twins fan and hate the White Sox, but the Cubs are always fun to ridicule. I hope it turns out to be a good deal at first and then someone in the stands robs them of an out. Wink

LOL. Never a dull moment of FNC. Yesterday, Shep Smith was hilarious during Paris Hilton coverage yesterday. His reenactments rivaled x's of 30 Rock.
