Marc Berman asked: Where do you think the show should take place?
I think the series should be set in the future, but it could just as easily be set in present day if The CW preferred.
It would be interesting to explore what Chris' life was like before he went to the past and saved Wyatt from turning evil. Setting the series in the future where Chris was trying to survive in a world ruled by his evil Brother would be a lot darker than Charmed or Supernatural.
A compromise could be still setting the show in the future, with Chris and Wyatt both good, but Wyatt still vulnerable to turning evil and having a dark side.
I believe that Brian Krause and Holly Marie Combes (Leo and Piper) would be interested in making occasional appearances, and they would definitely bring in the Charmed audience.

I think that the CW could put One Tree Hill or maybe a new drama next season on Thursdays after Smallville. Smallville is fairly compatible. Maybe try to get Aquaman going again.

Everwood... Oh wait, that was cancelled because of 7th Heaven! Didn't 7th Heaven have there "SERIES FINALE" last season. Thats odd...
I guess it depends on what shows they have and what shows they would want to put on that day. Who knows if there keeping 7th Heaven. Who knows if the new mid season show Hidden Palms will last. There making some bad mistakes for there network, I'll tell you that.
I guess they could pair Smallville up with a new show or reruns of another until they can figure what to do. I'm guessing there keeping 7th Heaven because if they dont and Hidden Palms fails, they dont have much left.
As for when the show should take place. I don't think there would be a problem setting it in the future. The season 2 Charmed episode "Morality Bites" I think is a good example of a future world and they pulled it off well. Maybe they will have to use a little special effect here and there and throw in some fancy cars and objects but other than that, I think its doable. But I don't think they should go overboard with it. The simpler the better.
As for Evil Wyatt. I think they could start off the show with Evil Wyatt and Chris trying to stop him and in the end have him save his brother which could be cool. I see it as they could start the show off with both of them good with Wyatt being vulnerable like charmingaussie suggested and having the shows last season or seasons or even the series finale have Wyatt turn evil and have the decision whether or not Chris would have to kill him etc. Or they could do a 180 on us (is that right?) and have Chris be the one that turns evil. Cause we all know that the future is always changing with the different decisions we make. They could do a lot of different things.
I also agree that Leo and Piper (Brian and Holly) would be great to have on the show every know and then. I still am not sure that they should be alive in the spin-off. I always liked seeing Grams and Pattys ghosts pop in. I think it would be more emotional to have Piper dead. Maybe even all three sisters. Have Leo be alive, have him be killed which motivates the brothers even more etc... but either way, Im still all for it.

I have been a fan of Charmed since it first started. I would fully support the spin off with the Charmed Sons. It sounds like a great idea. The are so many avenues that can be taken with the spin off I believe it can be a success. You have my full support on this endeavor. I will put up an advertisement on my websites to draw more attention to the project. I just hope that Spelling realizes the potential and takes advantage of the idea.
Even though Aaron Spelling has died, his production company still continues. If The Charmed Sons were to go to series, they would be given the first option to produce it seeing as they produced Charmed.
Chris (Drew Fuller) is younger brother to Wyatt (WesRamsey). Interestingly enough, the whole arc of season 6 is adult Chris coming back from a bad future caused by Wyatt who had gone evil, and trying to stop his brother (as a baby) from going evil. Therefore, in the series finales, when adult Wyatt (who's good) and Chris come back from the future, it almost seems as if little brother Chris has more "big brother" character traits. I wouldn't say they could get 8 seasons out of it, but without question, a solid 3, if not more. And as someone mentioned earlier, perhaps the whole of season one could be Wyatt going evil in ep 1 and Chris and whoever he brings along to help (series finale featured a future with several cousins) changing him back to good, and then perhaps from there, Wyatt is good and they end up in supernatural (oops!) mystery type situations. Perhaps even the brothers heading back to Salem MA from where their prior generations start, to solve some great family mystery. Yeah, it could actually be a little bit like Supernatural, what the heck, and wouldn't a couple of crossover episodes with the Supernatural WInchester Brothers and Charmed Sons Halliwell brothers be cool?
Just thinking out loud here - in the end however, I do also feel that a Charmed Spinoff featuring the sons (and occasional other family member appearances) could really work well, again, if only for a few seasons.
Someone had mentioned that instead of working their lives around magic, perhaps showing them trying to work their magic around their lives or vice versa - does that make sense? That's to say, focus more on their regular lives, as opposed to always going after a demon. But I still like the idea of mysteries with a paranormal twist - let it play more like a detective show than say Supernatural does.
I have to say that I think the current CW ratings obviously are not that great, and I think honestly that the CW could use some fresh new shows. Something like a Charmed Spin-off with Wyatt, who was played by Wes Ramsey in Charmed and his younger brother Chris, who was played by Drew Fuller. Both of these young men are great actors and the two of them together have great chemistry like the two boys of Smallville have. I definitely agree with Charmingaussie, that the show should be set in the future, to give everybody an idea of what life is like for them in that time. Yes, I'd say that Piper and Leo, if they did appear, it would bring more of the fans from Charmed, which would give it more viewers. I do believe that if this spin-off was put on Sunday nights the way that Charmed was, it would probably bring the CW's ratings up, at least for that night. Now I may be biased because I of course am a big Charmed fan especially with Wyatt and Chris...but I believe that if they were to consider using the idea of a spin-off with the two boys, who already have a big fan base as it is, then yes it might just be the answer that the CW is looking for. Obviously everybody has their own opinions, this is just mine.
