If The CW is considering bringing back a 90210 spinoff, then greenlighting this "Charmed Sons" spin-off should be a no-brainer.

The only complication may be in confirming the cast as the actors playing Chris and Wyatt may have moved on to other projects.

Wes Ramsey is temporarily returning to his role as Sam, Olivia's brother, on Guiding Light. So, it's safe to say that he's not busy.

As for Drew Fuller, he's on Lifetime's Army Wives, but with it being a summer show and his having a limited role in it, he might be available.

Good news that both are relatively available should The CW go forward to the past and greenlight this spin-off. At one point, I had thought that there might be complications around the ownership of this show and Mr. Spelling's estate, but that doesn't seem to have been an obstacle in piloting the new 90210 series being produced by Mr. Rob Thomas.

One way to get this series going might be to attach a hot producer to it...looking down my fave five list, I do note that Mr. Tim Minear is involved in "Dollhouse" with Mr. Whedon, but such a vast talent as his can easily straddle two series. Under his capable guidance, a re-launch of "Charmed Sons" could be the way to re-invigorate the "Charmed" franchise for The CW.

Keep dreaming about this. It's not going to happen.

As I was watching tonight's premiere of 'Valentine' on The CW, I was thinking of what a superb companion series the 'Charmed Sons' spinoff would be to 'Valentine'. Both are quirky dramedies with a supernatural touch, and they would make a great 2-hour block.

Marc, can the CW re-run shows from CBS for Sundays? They are hurting and I wonder if big sib can help them out. I also wonder if they can re-run old WB shows like Seventh Heaven, Charmed, or Dawson's Creak.

I, personally, would have spun off the Charmed Boys into their own show and included a female cousin (to simulate the three person team) and balanced that with a new version of the Mod Squad. Given CW's demographic, I do not know how they could miss such an obvious remake or model a new TV show after that concept! I would also consider a new Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys mystery hour.

'The Charmed Sons' paired up with 'Valentine' could very well be the salvation of MRC's The CW Sundays.

The producers could even approach Miss Shannen Doherty to see if she could reprise her role as part of the series kick-off.

With the news that MRC has cancelled 'Valentine' and 'Easy Money', they can now call upon the 'Charmed Sons' to bring hefty audiences to The CW Sunday Nights.

They are the sons, and the heirs...
