I've got my favorite shows, just like everyone else and I don't watch a lot of these shows. However, from what I hear from other people about some of these shows or what I've read, I think these nominations are pretty well-rounded and accurate. Shocker!

Most excited about Heroes and Masi Oka. Also find interesting that Studio 60 was pretty much shut out except for Supporting Actress for Sarah Paulson, which most people don't really like on this show.

Given that there are so many shows to pull from, I think that they did a great job overall.

The only thing I am surprised about are the Grey's Anatomy acting nominations. I do not think that Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo are the most deserving on the show. I would have preferred to see Chandra Wilson or Sandra Oh recognized.

I also would have preferred to see Sally Field from Brothers and Sisters recognized in the drama field instead of Ellen Pompeo or Evangeline Lily. But that is my personal thought after seeing all 3 shows.

What? No mention of Fashion House anywhere?!?!?

If you replaced Tony Shalhoub with Kevin James, I'd be a lot happier.

And as much as I like Medium, I don't think that Patricia Arquette is a great actress. I don't see why she gets the special recognition when there are so many others ignored such as Marg Helgenberger, Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths and anyone on Boston Legal and..... hey wait a minute - Boston Legal got ignored?!?!? I'm boycotting.

I agree about Sally Field, but I bet she does not come up short at the Emmys.

I'm so disappointed the Golden Globes nominated Evangeline Lily but snubbed Sally Field. Other than that, I'm pretty pleased.

I generally don't like the popular shows all that much so am not qualified to say whether these are good nominees or not. Usually just watch award shows for the fashion and the musical numbers. So hope those are on spot!

Good to see Big Love getting some, well, love. Both my wife and I like that show a lot and look forward to Season 2.

I'm happy that Katharine Heigl got some love. She missed out on the Emmys in my opinion - the last episode of last season was great for her.

Shocked that Evageline Lilly got a nod and I'm surprised Lost did, too, although, unlike many of its new-found detractors, I still think it's the best show on tv.

I would agree that I would've liked to have seen Kevin James get a nod instead of Tony Shaloub. "King of Queens" has been an underrated show for nearly 10 years.

And, despite the fact that I stopped watching last season, I always hope that Gilmore Girls will get a nomination in anything simply because it deserved it long ago. Still, no one ever showed GG any love at all and, with its creative failure this season (apparently) and last, I don't think anyone ever will.

Yeah for Dexter and Weeds! Michael C. Hall is amazing. Thank god Teri Hatcher didn't get nominated!

I am also quite happy with the recognition for Ugly Betty and America Ferrera. I would have liked to see Vanessa Williams in the supporting actress category for the show as well, but nothing is perfect!

Very happy about Heroes, Masi Oka, 24 and Kiefer. However, Friday Night Lights and its star, Kyle Chandler were robbed. I guess the Foreign Press Association doesn't really care about a show about football set in small town Texas. And I'm disappointed that Jean Smart wasn't nominated for Supporting Actress on 24 over Sara Paulson

Otherwise, good picks.... although if Tony Shalhoub wins another Best Actor award over the likes of Steve Carell and Alec Baldwin, I'll never watch the GG's again.
