I thought it had a very Slooooow pace. I never realy got a sense of how good or bad an individual designers was. The "judges table" too way to long (about 25 minutes).
I did enjoy the "comedy" from the "Fred & Barney" team. The "Ralphie Parker" guy needs a reality check. (Sorry, I'm horrible with names).
Never realy got to know anyone outside of "Fred and Barney."
I'll give it another episode, but it may need to "Pack its cameras and go", despite it good premiere numbers.
Alexis Arquette. Brother to Rosanna, David and Patricia. He is an actor, was on the Surreal Life. I'm not sure if he just dresses in drag or is truly a pre op transsexual.
As for the show, oh man, Todd Oldham bored me to tears. He was so wooden. Michael, the Ralphie Parker guy, is a little drama queen and it's a shame he wasn't kicked off first. This is a kid who is 23, thinks he knows everything, refuses to compromise or do any work. He's got a horrible attitude and John was much more calm than I would've been working with him.
Heather and Lisa's room was totally chinese restaurant, nothing at all what the client was looking for, so their dismissal was appropriate.
The show itself was slow, but I like the concept. Just hope everyone loosens up as we go along. I also didn't like the fact that basically all these people are design professionals from NY, LA and Chicago. No one is from small town America.

The judges are generic The competitions are like watching a soccer game. They spend 35 minutes from when the designers are done with their room to who was voted off.
The "Drama" seems hyped up. And what about the femal designers? They barely get any airtime. Its been "Fred & Barney" most of the time.
I'm giving it a third episode to get better, otherwise they will have to pack their swatches & leave!
