I've been and fan of My Boys since the first eppy (it's getting better now that characters have been established). But, I caught an episode of 10 Items Or Less last night and it was hilarious. How are the numbers for these shows? I know cable releases limited information, but what's the word on their success or failure?

Anyone else watching? What do you think?

I've been watching every episode too. I even catch the repeats. I hoping it comes together alittle better. When I watch the first season of Friends- the characters seem so goofy, with their one-liners.

Ive been watching since it started a few weeks ago and it has gotten even better. The last two episode set was really good and the timing and writing seems to be coming together nicely.

TBS has not sent out any ratings update on either comedy yet. But I also really like My Boys. It fits like a glove out of Sex and the City.

I think that My Boys is the best scripted comedy currently on the air at present.

OK, that's good enough for me to check it out - especially with nothing much on this week....

For an alternative view, this is a series of posts from a Chicago blog called the Beechwood Reporter. Obviously, he's looking at this from a Chicago-authenticity point of view, but he does bring up some interesting points. Personally, If not for Jordana Spiro and Jim Gaffigan, I may've given up on it by now.

As for "Ten Items," it was dreadfully unfunny and over-obvious in its product placement, except for Jennifer Elise Cox, who's funny whether or not she's playing a ditz (like on "Lovespring," the cable improvcom that did work--I'm finding "Campus Ladies" too spotty).
