Mark- I know you are ver y critical of ABC's 10pm slot and their lack of retention to Greys Anatomy. But isn't MIT doing better than six degrees? Also have they improved weekly? I do not care for the show and I still don't think is the right follow up to Greys but should we give some Kudos, especially were ABC was in the last 2 years in he battle for Thursday nigh?
Yes and no. Yes...this is a definite improvement from Six Degrees. But the retention needs to improve out of Grey's Anatomy before we give it accolades.

I'm leaning (like 51/49) towards MIT coming back. The retention is not great (Marc, is it somewhat similar to Boston Legal out of DH in season 1 or am I way off), but it could be worse.
"Men in Trees" at least has a sense of creative direction going for it and a fair amount of positive press. And, to be frank, we could use a few more well written, subtle romantic comedies on prime time. Considering its other problems at the moment, I'm sure ABC is more than happy to stick with this show and looks forward to its continued growth in future years, now that it's in a stable time period.
I love this show and most of the men I know like this show. I'm surprised to hear how many guys say how much they like this show. I have a theory on why they love it.
I think the guys on the show are real guys/men. the are written pretty much as real men are and how real men talk/think. They are mostly normal looking. Only a few hunks but most are nice looking normal guys.
