I thought How I Met Your Mother, 2.5 Men and Old Christine were all great. While The Class hasn't exactly won me over, last night's episode was a little better than its first two. I actually laughed twice.

I completely agree. I think Jason Ritter showed some great character, and the girl in the wheelchair (who is usually annoying) was endearingly vulnerable. The rest of the night was great.
I laughed once at the class. The only storyline worth a laugh was the jason ritter/surly girl one. That one was better than most of the stuff on the show. I'll watch still.... can't write it off yet.

You are right vlis, CBS is flipping time periods for The Class with How I Met Your Mother. HIMYM will now open Monday, which was the original game plan last May.
Now that the hIMYM and class switch has worked -- where is there room for the king of queens on this great comedy lineup? Could they put it on sundays in place of amazing race? There is no open time slot because CBS is doing well on Tues and Wed (where is usually puts its sitcoms)
The Amazing Race is doing relatively well on Sunday, so don't expect CBS to put comedies there. I'm still not so sure about The Class. My guess is King of Queens will still wrap up its run on Monday.
My guess is Doug and Carrie will inhabit the Amazing Race's timeslot during January/February and run back to back episodes. Then it can have its series finale during Februaury sweeps. However, just because the numbers were good this week for the class, I'm guessing that the fans didn't exactly know they switched time slots yet.
Ratings for The Class are still very iffy, Mushu_jj. With the final 13 episodes of The King of Queens waiting in the wings, I still don't think The Class will last past midseason.
I think that a lot of How I Met Your Mother fans watched the Class this past week because they didn't know the time slots had switched. I expect there will be tune out from HIMYM to the Class this week. Bring on Doug and Carrie!
