When it comes to demo, the pifeedback mob came close with several of the averages, but never quite hit in on the head. The mob came very close to the viewer averages, coming within 7,000 viewers of MNT's actual average. Mr. Meidel has a place to come looking for his Sweep forecasts for the upcoming May Sweep!

You're welcome Obveeus, and thank you for saying that.
I've long enjoyed following the Sweep and all the ultra-competitive network jockeying, which nowdays means a heavier emphasis on fresh series episodes. From yesteryear, I do miss the wider use of Sweep stunt programming (crossovers, 2-hour episodes, etc.) such as specials, miniseries and mega-theatricals being more prominent in the mix.
And Sweeps will be with us for years to come, at least until Nielsen rolls out meters to all 210+ markets, which will probably take a long time.
I'm even looking forward to this years July Sweep, what with all the original programming coming up this summer on the broadcast nets who are aggressively trying to erode the summer season erosion of viewers/demo over to cable.
