CBS is having a pretty good summer so far. It only has (now) two new shows in production, yet still leads in viewers and is usually 2nd in the demo. The procedurals are really helping the bottom line with strong numbers and the need to NOT increase productions on new summer programming. On the other hand, FOX's new Summer line up is leading the way for FOX to take the Summer. Production cost are over CBS, but they are getting a return on that investment. NBC started strong this summer, but has cooled off the last few weeks. ABC is... well... ABC. They have premired more new shows than anyone yet, not one "Must See" show has come out of them. All those dramas that dont repeat well is REALLY dragging down the numbers (especially in the demo). All that momentum from the May Sweeps may have just been lost.
