I wonder where FOX will move Prison Break to. Unless they run the Sarah Connor episodes 13 straight weeks and then complete Prison Break's season after that.

Clarification from futon critic:

PRISON BREAK will have its Fall Finale on Monday, Dec. 17. It will return to the FOX schedule in its regular time period Monday, April 14, 2008, and will air original episodes into June, along with 24, as previously announced.

LOL! They are planning on moving the whole FOX schedule around. Fifteen episodes would have K-Ville airing into mid-Febraury. I'd expect it where they placed New Amsterdam, Fridays at 9 starting January. At least that's what the FOX insiders are saying on the board. I want to know where they are placing Bones. I've heard it predicted on every day of the week so far. That will shape where the rest goes.

Bones usually gets what ever is left.

Personally, if FOX is on the conservative side of shceduling, they should think about Bones AFTER AI on Tuesdays and House on 8pm Wednesdays. Take advantage of the HOUSE as a lead in!

That's true, Bones tends be under the FOX's priority radar.

I think Sarah on Monday could work, but it might just encourage viewers to flip over to Heroes on NBC instead of staying put and watching 24 on FOX. Why not just have Bones air before 24, then air Prison Break?

As for Idol, if I ran FOX, I'd have it air the performances on Wednesdays at 9/8c against the major players and the half hour results on Thursdays at 9/8c against the titians leading into a comedy. Because the bigger networks air 3 hour of programming with their strongest shows typically in the 9/8c slot. This would allow FOX to better compete and create more stability in the schedule.

House can stay on Tuesdays (as it doesn't really need Idol as a lead in) with a drama like Canterbury's Law, the slots were already previously filled with reality shows, and the only real schedule shuffle would be adding the weaker comedies after football and on Mondays when 24 comes back.

MONDAY
8:00-9:00 PM BONES / PRISON BREAK / BONES
9:00-10:00 PM PRISON BREAK / 24

TUESDAY
8:00-9:00 PM CANTERBURY’S LAW
9:00-10:00 PM HOUSE

WEDNESDAY
8:00-8:30 PM BACK TO YOU
8:30-9:00 PM ’TIL DEATH
9:00-10:00 PM KITCHEN NIGHTMARES / AMERICAN IDOL

THURSDAY
8:00-9:00 PM 5th GRADER
9:00-9:30 PM DON'T FORGET THE LYRICS / AMERICA IDOL: RESULTS
9:00-10:00 PM DON'T FORGET THE LYRICS / sitcom

FRIDAY
8:00-9:00 PM NEW AMSTERDAM
9:00-10:00 PM K-VILLE burn-off or NANNY 911 or TRADING SPOUSES

SUNDAY (Post Football Seasons)
7:00-7:30 PM KING OF THE HILL
7:30-8:00 PM AMERICAN DAD
8:00-8:30 PM THE SIMPSONS
8:30-9:00 PM FAMILY GUY
9:00-10:00 PM THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES

As far as I can tell, New Amsterdam and Canterbury's Law are 7 episode orders used as spring replacements and fillers. I doubt either of those shows will get a main spot on the January/Spring roster when FOX announces it. They will have to fill in gaps during the season.

What is beyond me is why won't they premiere it in the fall when people are actively checking out new pilots? It's not as if SCC is getting the post idol slot nor will it get any promotion advantage as idol will probably premiere that week too. What kind of ratings will this show get?

That's why it should've launched with Prison Break right away. I actually think they could've led off with Sarah Connor into Prison Break. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe Prison Break has a pretty even following to it, while Heroes is more male. Anyways, put the established show against the monsters and the new show in the easier 8pm slot (its not like Dancing would skew the same). Then K-Ville could've been tried somewhere else. As for New Amsterdam and Canteburry's Law, I doubt we will ever see either of them.

Prison Break off the air for 4 months. May not be too long before it is off the air permanently.

I just saw a promo for Sarah Connor Chronicles between the ALCS break. Fox is pushing this series hard so early on, they must be very confident. Although reviews seem to be positive so far from critics.

Hasn't it been off the air for an extended period of time every season so far?
