That makes sense. They've got 3 seasons under their belt, the ratings are reasonable, and the demographic is fantastic. Syndication is calling I suppose.

Perhaps, but they have kept him in long sleeves since his original jail break and I doubt they will ever show the tats again since they take 1/2 a day to put on and are no longer relevant to the storyline.

It's likely that FOX is moving House to Mondays with Hell's Kitchen going on after Idol on Tuesdays and the new House episodes planned to air on Mondays. Do you think that means Prison Break will be moving up an hour and sharing the night with House or being moved somewhere elsewhere on the FOX schedule?

Me either. PB has stabe domestic ratings and PB is too popular overseas for FOX to let it go now.

pb is a great show but its most likely that this will its last season, cuz theres no way they could strech out the jail thing for a long time... but if they do move it i think it should be after idol.........

Now, we are talking anout Network Executives, but the smart thing to do in the fall is set up your proven veterans at 8pm to help the newer shows at 9pm.

So, you need to seperate BONES, HOUSE, PB, for Mon, Tues & FRI. Perhaps hope that the Two sitcomes can hold their own on Wednesdays, or RUn MOT to leadinto the sitcoms at 9pm

I think they should paired PB final season with 24 on Monday starting Jan 2009 and running episodes non-stop thru May.

By the way, I don't think House is going to move to Monday next fall. Fox is going to run repeats on Tuesday during Summer (But if When women rule the world tanks, we may see the familiar Bones+House combo again this summer.)

In general, righto about the 8pm lead in theory for new shows for a net like FOX, but a few additional points:

I say PB stays at 8 Monday. There is no point in wasting HOUSE, for example, in that hour because you are then walking a new show at 9pm right into a death slot. And giving PB a lead in at this late date makes no sense.

When HOUSE aired a few times at 8pm tuesday in the early 06-07 season when STANDOFF was being launched, I believe HOUSE and NCIS hurt each other a bit. With CBS weaker at 9pm, that still appears to be the hour for HOUSE, which is unique in that it has somewhat of a nebulous base audience but is great at picking up loose ends. NBC and ABC airing reality at 9pm makes it an even better play for HOUSE. FOX has to cash in big with that show, even at the expense of launching their often marginal development slate.

If BONES is strong enough to really make a go on friday and overcome the low HUTS, it is strong enough as well on Wed at 8pm, where an established drama should fare very well. The comedies could go at 9pm, or something new.

MOMENT OF TRUTH could be used in the fall to counterprogram the 9pm Mon hour, where PB has questionable value as a lead in to new dramas, or MoT could be used to anchor friday nite, assuming NBC wises up and doesn't waste DOND leading into a fading drama.
