I'm wondering if Fox releases unaired episodes or canceled series on DVD? I was just searching online and I found a canceled series listed at Target.com and Amazon.com (for a DVD release). The series was canceled after only a handful of episodes were aired. Both sites also list New Amsterdam. Is there a DVD release date for that show?

Is it just false hope that new/canceled shows are being listed at amazon and other places? I can't imagine Fox paying to release failed shows onto DVD.

Canceled shows frequently make it to DVD. Even though they might be ratings disappointments they still have fans and, therefore, money to be made from the sell of their episodes.
