With 24 on the back-burner till 2009, here's my suggestion.

Fall/Winter/Spring

Starting off Monday
8-SCC/Fringe/SCC
9-Fringe/24/24

While I disagree with holding off on 24 because I think out of sight = out of mind, I think keeping it an action packed Monday would be best.

Tuesday-
8-Back 2 You/American Idol/American Idol
8-Hackett/American Idol/American Idol
9-House MD

How about comedies leading into House?

Wednesday-
8-Prison Break/American Idol/(Prison Break or Doll House)
9-Dollhouse/Dollhouse/American Idol:Results
9:30 Dollhouse/Dollhouse/Starting Under

Prison Break gets a new home and then comes Dollhouse. When Idol returns, it can be decided if Prison Break has outlived its concept for when Idol becomes a results show.

Thursday-
8-5th Grader/American Idol/5th Grader
9-Don't Forget the Lyics/5th Grader/Don't Forget the Lyics

I think 4 hours of singing shows in a week could become too much.

Friday-
8-Moment of Truth
9-Bones

See if Truth has what it takes to be on Friday with Bones. If not, then, we've still got Kitchen Nightmares.

Saturday-
8-Cops
9-AMW

Sunday-
7-Comedy Encores
8-The Simpsons
8:30-American Dad
9-Family Guy
9:30- King of the Hill

Why move Moment of Truth when it is doing fantastic after AI or for that matter to Fridays?

Mondays:
8pm Prison Break
9pm Sarah Connor's Chronicles/24

PB is already losing steam why move it when it could possibly cause it to lose more.

Tuesdays:
8pm 5th Grader/AI in January
9pm Don't Forget the Lyrics/Fringe

Depending how well Fringe does in the Fall and if it gets picked up for a full season.

Wednesdays:
8pm Moment of Truth/AI in January
9pm Fringe/Dollhouse

Thrusdays:
8pm [2 Comedies]
9pm House

House could actually give FOX a helping hand on Thrusdays against ABC's Grey's and CBS's CSI.

Fridays:
8pm Bones
9pm Encore Presentation of a Show

Saturdays:
Remains same.

Sundays:
Remains same.

I don't think anything like this will happen, but I think this would make FOX stronger across the board.

SUNDAY
7PM - Football Overuns / Repeats or 5th Grader
8PM - Terminator (would have a great football lead in half of the time in the fall)
9PM - Prison Break

MONDAY
(FOX is giving this lineup up a try on Mondays in April, and I think it will do very well)
8PM - Bones / House in January
9PM - House / 24 in January

TUESDAY
8PM - Moment of Truth / American Idol
9PM - Kitchen Nightmares / New Drama in January

WEDNESDAY
8PM - Back To You / AI in January
8:30 - Til Death or new comedy / AI in January
9PM - New Drama / Bones in January

THURSDAY
8PM - Simpsons
8:30 - Family Guy
9PM - New Drama

FRIDAY
8PM - 5th Grader
9PM - Don't Forget the Lyrics

SATURDAY
8PM - Cops
9PM - America's Most Wanted

Some general comments about the line-ups. For starters I want to say that lots of people have been posting schedules that will simply not come to be - FOX will not shift so many of its show to new nights - people like familiarity - especially those that don't DVR. Secondly, mushu_jj's lineup is the best (in my opinion) - and is virtually what I would do. Bones is working on Fridays - the last ep got over 7 million viewers - and it was a repeat! These are better numbers than most originals get and virtually identical numbers to its Wed/Tue airings (for repeats anyway) - and on a lower HUT night! Hence, moving Bones to Fridays is the perfect way to re-invigorate their night. As for SCC - it is expensive, but it has been rating quite well (much better than say the similarly expensive Drive) and FOX has put a lot behind it so I think it will be back next season (if only for 13 eps). Prison Break will be back either for season 4 or for Cherry Hill spin-off. And 24 - most of you have no concept of the work/time put into making TV if you think that they can make two seasons of 24 (48 eps - minus the 8 all ready made for a total of 40 new eps) in the space of time they have. It's impossible. As for New Amsterdam (I have seen it) it is mediocre and will probably not survive to next year (no comment on the other newcomers yet to debut - but I assume most/if not all will likely fail to return in Fall).

Monday:
8pm Prison Break/Prison Break: Cherry Hill (13-16eps)/SCC (9-12eps)
9pm SCC (9-10eps)/ 24 (in January for 24 eps as usual)

Tuesday:
8pm House/AI
9pm New Show (The Oaks/Fringe/Dollhouse)

OR the more likely based on Fox's past scheduling
8pm New Show (The Oaks/Fringe/Dollhouse)/AI
9pm House

Wednesday:
8pm Back 2 You
8:30pm Til Death (if the net keeps it - otherwise new comedy)/AI (Jan)
9pm Kitchen Nightmares/Hells Kitchen

Thursday:
8pm 5th Grader
9pm Don't Forget the Lyrics

[No reason to change either of these low cost/moderate performers]

Friday:
8pm Bones
9pm New Show (The Oaks/Fringe/Dollhouse)

Sunday:
As per usual (comedies)

Some other notes:
Moment of Truth could be used at 9pm on Friday, same with Trading Spouses/Nanny 911 depending on what ABC does on Friday (they may program their similar shows then).
One new show will be saved for mid-season.
Lyrics can be used on Friday at 9pm out of Bones (encores/new eps) if New Show fails. Or House encores.
House spin-off on Friday at 9pm would be perfect and massive ratings winner for FOX. (or at any time for that matter)
New shows yet to debut may slot in if successful.

1. Thanks!
2. I completely agree about most of these lineups. Most of them are extremely unlikely. I would honestly be surprised to see many new shows next year. I'd say 2 new dramas max (they only launched one this past fall) and maybe one new comedy. Reality has been a great filler for Fox so far in the fall.

My prediction of what will actually happen FOX fall:

Saturday
8:00 Cops
8:30 Cops (repeat)
9:00 America's Most Wanted

Assuming that Unhitched is a hit, then..
Sundays
7:00 Football OT/Animation repeats
8:00 Simpsons
8:30 American Dad (New Time)
9:00 Family Guy
9:30 Unhitched
..otherwise, business as usual with King of the Hill.

Monday
8:00 Prison Break / ???
9:00 Sarah Connor Chronicles / 24
Prison Break still has descent numbers and does well enough in the demo for FOX to give it the ax just yet. Plus, they planned to spin if off prior to the writers strike, so I think season 4 is a safe bet. Sarah while expensive has been promoted too heavily by FOX to just go away. I think they'll give it another 9 episodes. After that it'll depend on ratings what will share the night with 24.

Tuesday
8:00 DOLLHOUSE / American Idol
9:00 House
It doesn't seem like FOX will ever move House, so I assume the formula will follow true and Dollhouse will get the spot.

Thursday
8:00 Are You Smarter than A 5th Grader
9:00 Don't Forget the Lyrics

Wednesday and Friday are question marks for me.

Is House really the kind of the show that can be spun off? I just don't see how it can succeed without Laurie.
