Assuming everything goes to plan, Bones will go there and repeats of that pulled about 4 or 5 million. I think in the fall, if paired with the right show, the new episodes could get 6 or 7 or possibly even 8.

Some repeats pulled as many as 7 million this winter. I think it could beat Ghost Whisperer. It just seems like an easy show to watch on a Friday. Hopefully Fox has something good to pair with it this fall.

The new JJ Abrams show Fringe sounds very promising. So does Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, but I'm afraid of the Joss Whedon and Friday because of Firefly. Maybe Ryan Murphy's ("Popular" & "Nip/Tuck") new show could be the Friday partner/answer for Bones.

Even with Idol having a down year - I myself am losing interest in these good but bland contestants - FOX is still in the driver's seat for the forseeable future.

Dollhouse and Fringe sound like the shows they'll use this fall. The Oaks which they bid heavy for sounds more like midseason fair that can be launched post-Idol and then go air elsewhere like Thursdays.

Given how close CBS is to taking Fox in total viewers, if I were them, those Friday movies would've been substituted with something else and Family Guy would be repeating at 7, not King of the Hill.

FOX is being held up almost entirely by one show: American Idol. You know there is a problem when the Saturday programming is in the top half of the weekly network ratings.

To be fair, it's not like it was a movie or news show, it was a sporting event. The NCAA play-offs scored high for CBS on Saturday too.

It isn't like NASCAR did really well, it is just that FOX did really poorly this week (outside of the couple of shows up top). 7.8 million viewers should not be on the top end of the weekly list for one of the 'big 3&1/2' networks.

As for basketball, ABC took a big hit on the same night with 3 hours of Basketball playoffs that panned out as their least watched hours of the entire week.

In total viewers, Family Guy is not doing very well on Sundays, with originals. They may not even be able to pull what the movies are pulling.

The should have just place Bones & House encores during the month. At least they would average about 5-6 million then.
