In my opinion, Virtuality sounds terrible. It has a rejected Sci Fi network series feel to it.

She will probably get her own show, but if not, I'd love to see her added to New Amsterdam as 'the one' now that the current 'the one' apparently isn't.

I wouldn't hold my breath on New Amsterdam getting a second season. I think that Tricia Helfer will get one of the current pilots that sill have roles to fill like Dollhouse, Queen B, or Courtroom K.
My guess is that Tricia Helfer is going to be the star on this new FOX project: Virtuality

Virtuality is a two hour backdoor pilot from Battlestar Galactica mastermind Ronald D. Moore.

FOX seems to be stalking up on sci-fi and action series:

The Oaks
Fringe
Dollhouse
Virtuality

I think that should make Sarah Connor and New Amsterdam a little more than nervous. All but The Oaks have 2 hours or more committed to them already.

Dark Angel got the boot because of Firefly, John Doe, and Fastlane. It was a wrong decision, based on how all those series performed on Fridays and every replacement since, but there wasn't a way to unring that bell.

Virtuality sounds like Firefly all over again.
The Oaks doesn't seem to have a potential partner series.
That leaves Fringe and Dollhouse. The Oaks may get a midseason pickup for post-Idol duty.

Ya, like those 5 hours planned for last fall. Fox quickly cut it to 4 after realizing most shows would bomb. Fox has put a ton into SCC. They will bring it back. Prison Break is already back. Those two will pair up again. House and Bones will split with one on Tuesday and the other on Friday. Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday will stay the same with perhaps a new comedy inheriting a slot on Sundays, spelling KotH to midseason.

Yes, I read where FOX is only planning on two hours of new programming for the fall. However, unless they cancel some of their series orders, I don't see it happening. FOX changes their minds a lot and I have a feeling you will see at least a third hour of new programming for the fall.

Yes, FOX has a lot to program next season. I don't know how they are going to fit it in. They definately will be programming new scripted originals on Friday and I wouldn't be surprised to see them try Saturday or Sunday with something new.

Ordered or close to ordered to series they have:

Courtroom K
The Oaks
Fringe
Queen B
Dollhouse
Inseperable
The Inn
The Pitts
Night Life
Spaced
Starting Under
Boldly Going Nowhere (could be fall '09?)

This doesn't include any reality/game shows that are going to series.

Even with Boldly not in the picture, as I said before a lot of stuff to get through. SCC coming back just fills up another space.

Would they really pick up 5 comedies? Plus 6 dramas?...They only want to fill 2 hours in the Fall and save some fare for midseason. I doubt they would replace COPS and America's Most Wanted.
