Always one of my favorite shows of the summer. As I stated on the ratings thread, I find the show pretty honest as reality shows go. I suspect Gorden Ramsey is much like he appears on the show. Granted, surely its ramped a bit for the show, but Ihave no doubt he has some classic rants in his real job as well.
I'm not sure about this years group, but it doesn't matter much ... Ramsey is the star of this show.
As for the ratings, I susupect they will be pretty good for a summer show. Having House as a lead certainly should help.

As I suspected the ratings were pretty good. Why doesn't Fox just use Hells Kithcen in the fall on Thursdays at 9:00, instead if the spinoff of HK? Iknow you have CSI and Greys but it would be good counter programming.
Not every summer series is ready for the Fall & Winter. It is doing well vs. Repeat from the other nets, but in a see of original programming, it may get lost.
I think the spinoff Kitchen Nightmares may help determine if HK is ready for a regular season run. If so, perhaps by January a new season of HK could be available.

I fell asleep.
It was the little guy, Eddie. He had trouble cooking spaghetti (of all things). He was nominated by Rock along with Josh. Why Rock didn't nominate Aaron is beyond me? Aaron was terrible as usual. He was assigned to the dining room, to de-bone fish (which he screwed up)and made a complete fool out of himself by introducing himself to people like he was a drunk captain of a cruise ship.
The most entertaining part of the show came by way of the guy’s reaction to one of the girl walking around in a bikini bottom. They kept asking her to reach for stuff. Boys will be boys.
I actually watched almost the whole episode. I fell asleep during the last commercial break. But, thanks!
Aaron is horrendous, but very entertaining to watch. If he had been in the kitchen, he would've surely been eliminated. How he made it onto the show is beyond me.

I think Aaron was more suited for The Biggest Loser, not Hell's Kitchen. He whined and complained about being slow and overweight and letting down the team as he puffed on cigarette. Geez.

The cooking video game genre is heating up. An Iron Chef America game is in the works as is another Cooking Mama sequel. Now comes a game with a simmering attitude: Hell's Kitchen: The Video Game
A virtual Chef Gordon Ramsay judges players as they attempt to slice, dice and sautee their way through the game. Serve it up right and players get access to Ramsay's recipe file. Bad preparation can result in your kitchen getting shut down.
"Hell's Kitchen has everything a great video game needs: pressure, excitement and intense competition,” said Ubisoft's Tony Key in announcing the game, due in September. "We are very excited to be bringing the intensity of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and the Hell's Kitchen experience to the virtual world this fall.”
Also whipped up for the game: A fast-play arcade mode for working on culinary skills and a career mode with overseeing a five-star restaurant as one of your goals.
The game will be available for the Nintendo Wii and the handheld DS system as well as Windows and Macintosh PCs.
