I hope we haven't seen the last of Drs. Foreman, Chase, and Cameron.

I'm hearing some casting news for the new recruits, but not what precisely their roles are. All are signed on for multiple episodes, with options to become regulars.

Anne Dudek is set for 'Amber'
Olivia Wilde is set for '13'
Peter Jacobson is set for 'Taub'
Edi Gathaegi for 'Cole'
Kal Penn is set for 'Kutner'

I have the opposite view - I hope we see very little of the old team from next season on. It will make their departure from this past season's finale all the more better and "House", in its 4th season, would be as if it were a new show this fall. I love that I don't know what to expect of Dr. House's new team.

Plus, I think the old team's plot lines have run out of progression - the Chase-Cameron romance was very "Grey's Anatomy"-like. But still, "House" is the best medical show on TV, even though I like "Grey's"

I think they will give the new people the first 8 weeks since you figure they wont bring back Chase, Foreman and Cameron right away. Then the 1 or 2 that work the best will be kept on in addition to Chase, Foreman and Cameron.

I like the old crew, and I don't want to see them gone for good, but I do relish the thought of five brand new targets for House. The problem was that he was gaining too much respect for his team. Sure, he'd still insult them, but after all this time, none of them took it seriously. They understood that this is simply his way and they'd shrug it off. Where's the fun in that? I can't wait to see the new faces when House rips them each a new one.
