Gosh I recall about 2 other "acting" type of shows that had totally bombed (and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more I spaced on). One was The Next Big Action Star and the other was... oh I forget, but it bombed to. Perhaps with Burnett & Spielberg involved, this one will do better, but I have my doubts.

I not a "reality" tv fan, but I will check out The Lot just because Burnett & Spielberg are involved.

Bones placed in the Fox Death Slot, Home to Brilliant but Cancelled Shows like Strange Luck, Brimstone, Sliders, and Firefly? Is it doomed?

I'll give *On the Lot* a looksee, primarily to check out how involved on-screen Spielberg is, but I'm curious how this is going to work. Movie-making can be a dull process (which is the problem I had with Project Greenlight -- intriguing concept but the end result bored me), and I'm wondering how they're going to make it interesting.

The second show you were thinking about xwiseguyx was the WB's *The Starlet,* which I believed rewarded the winner with a guest shot on *One Tree Hill*. Said winner of that show hasn't worked since, and one Web site reported she's working at an LA restaurant.
