Is it really possible to deprogram somebody's mind completely . This sounds intriguing yet not sure if I buy the concept . I will check out Fringe though. That looks really awesome :-)

Dollhouse is a science fiction, of course it is impossible to deprogram an actual human, a robot yes, human highly doubtful. However, our technology is far less advanced than we think so maybe in the distant future but not now.
If you want to check to see if you might like the subject dealt with, check out Dark Angel [a Fox canceled show back in 03] about genetically enhanced humans too or the movie [old or new] The Stepford Wives about ordinary housewives enhanced to be the perfect stay at home wife.

I'm a big fan of Joss Whedon, so I have to say, I will give this one a chance (realistic or not). I really liked (and no laughing!) the realism he brought to Buffy, the Vampire Slayer...made the sci fi part of it seem almost second nature. Should be pretty cool.
