Mr. Prez is running out of venues to appear on in his media saturation strategy. Perhaps next could be a whirl filling in for Regis or maybe guest judge on Idol.
Or maybe he could co-star with a chimpanzee in a bad comedy?

Sophie on the other hand seems DOA.
I hope not! I enjoyed Sophie very much. It was definitely a little more mature than I think ABC Family usually aims for, but in a great way. I'm 26 and I thought it was a great "girly" sitcom. I've also been hearing from CBC viewers that it's worth watching.

Fox Orders Six Scripts for ‘Bones’ for 2009-10 Season By Josef Adalian
Fox is moving closer to picking up another batch of “Bones.”
The network just ordered six scripts of the 20th Century Fox TV crime drama, with an eye to using the episodes during the 2009-10 season. While not an official renewal, the script order is a good sign that the network plans to greenlight “Bones” for a fifth season later this spring.
“Bones” has long been one of Fox’s best utility players. The network has aired the show in five different timeslots since its 2005 debut, and it’s always managed to draw an audience.
The series has proven to be a particularly potent weapon for Fox this year, helping the network establish a solid presence on Thursday nights. Since relocating to Thursdays in January, “Bones” has boosted Fox’s season-to-date average in the 8 p.m. timeslot by 43% in adults 18 to 49 and by a whopping 74% in overall viewers.
More impressively, “Bones” has scored victories against ABC’s “Ugly Betty” and NBC’s comedies.
Really? I would feel insulted that Bones didn't get a fifth season outright. 5 different timeslots, still can pull a strong audience, and has syndication prospects?

I'm going to chime in on the BBT/HIMYM debate. I think the current schedule benefits both shows. BBT has shown lots of growth this year in the 8pm hour and the number of viewers beats HIMYM about half the time.
Now, I think what most people neglected to mention is that HIMYM skews younger than BBT. While the number of viewers is generally the same or a little lower than BBT, the 18-49 demographic is always a couple tenths of a point higher. Its 18-34 rating is generally half to one point higher than BBT. For the reason that HIMYM skews young is why CBS loves the show. Generally speaking, shows that attract big numbers in those demographics are generally more profitable because advertisers are willing to pay more. On CBS which generally skews old, HIMYM is one of their best performing shows in the 18-34 demographic.
While BBT may have more total viewers more consistently, HIMYM almost always outperforms in the 18-49 demo and always outperforms in teh 18-34 demo.
Both shows have strong areas and both shows continue to thrive in the current scheduling slots. No need for CBS to move either.
CBS should be well-pleased with both shows--neither will go down as among the biggest hits in sitcom history, but they both perform extremely well, and they're both funny (which is more than 30 Rock can say, and a good laugh is worth a hundred Emmys in my book).
BBT is an older-skewing show, which explains why it does better at 8pm--its audience has more free time.
I thought I would run out of time and not be able to post in the tuesday thread.
And it was SO important to you to use this TV ratings forum to opine on Obama's policies that you couldn't take the chance of this great opportunity slipping away?

Yeah, how about Obama's degree?
So were you also the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review?

Kettle meet black. This coming from the person who opined at us for months during the election season about how Obama was amazing. Blah blah blah.
