Wow, can't ABC find ANYTHING better to air after a Disney movie than sticking a repeat of Eli Stone in?! I'm pretty sure even a few repeats of AtJ would do better!
FOX Tops in A18-49 After 10 Days of 2008 July Sweep; CBS the Most Viewed Network
FOX had a comfortable A18-49 advantage over the other nets last night, and it now averages a 1.9 in A18-49, followed by NBC in second with 1.6, ABC third with 1.5, CBS fourth with 1.4, The CW fifth with 0.6, and MyNetworkTV last with a 0.4 average. Year-over-year, ABC the only network up in A18-49's (by 7%), whereas all the other networks are showing A18-49 declines from last July. Overall, A18-49 is down 10% across the six nets from last July.
After 10 nights, CBS holds on to its customary lead in viewership, with NBC second, FOX third (behind NBC by only 9,000 viewers), ABC fourth, CW fifth and MNT is last. In viewers, ABC, NBC and CBS are showing year-over-year increases compared to last years July Sweep, and overall, viewership is down by only 1% year-over-year from last July (especially surprising given that this year included the low-viewer Fourth of July holiday).

Last nights and Thursday numbers are based on FAST national numbers. Previous nights and last years comparative numbers are based upon final Nielsen numbers.
Nota Bene. This year's Sweep includes the low-HUT Fourth of July whereas last year's Sweep started on July 5th and did not include the Fourth of July.
ATJ is probably more compatible but not sure it would do much better. But, yea, Eli Stone was a horrible pick. Not sure it does anything for the show's promotion.

Eli Stone is an odd pick, especially given the Wonderful World of Disney lead-in. ABC would have been smarter to give the slot to encore one of the ABC FAMILY series (i.e. Middleman, Secret Diary of an American Girl, Kyle XY) which at least could benefit from the WWOD lead-in.
Both Eli Stone and Greatest American Dog didn't repeat well.
In fact, the only show to pull in even decent ratings was 48 Hours repeat and maybe the second half of L&O: CI. Surely there must be a way for networks to do better than this on Saturday.
Maybe NBC should give In Plain Sight a shot. It couldnt do any worse then repeats of My Name is Earl or another repeat of Law and Order.
This is my plan for ABC: 8:00 - Disney Channel Original Movie (From Disney Channel) 9:30 - Disney Channel Original Series (From Disney Channel) 10:00 - Secret Diary of an American Girl (From ABC Family)

If they're repeating it on Saturday, no. They should reair at least one of the freshman series on weekday if they're looking for promotion of those shows.
