Find a band? There was no band last year. The 'band' was made up for the show. All they would have to do is put an add in a music rag asking for auditions and they would be able to have as much of a 'band' as they had last season. quote: As for alternatives to the CW comedies, there was Reba,
The reason Reba was not an option has already been covered. Why bring it up as an alternative whe it was not? Are you going to pretend that Reba was going to take a massive pay cut or are you just going to continue to ignore that CW didn't want that financial burden at all? Higher rated does not equate with successful or profitable, and you know it. quote: As for going off topic, I was simply showing you how unnecessarily rude you are to programs that don't necessarily fit your taste.
How can someone be 'rude' to a program? How is it 'rude' to the program to suggest that moving it to 10pm on Tuesday after Big Brother was not going to help its ratings? You are speaking in tongues.

Look, I could argue for hours with you on this, but its simply not worth it. Tell yourself you're the winner. Whatever...

The bottom line on PIRATE MASTER was it simply was a tired SURVIVIOR retread trying to cash in on PIRATES which has now long since faded from most cinemaplexes...people have moved on the PIRATES hype is now over and PM couldn't sustain people's interest. I gave up after only three episodes and I have NEVER done that with any of the CBS reality shows I watched...apparently many others felt similar.

Pirates of the Caribbean has been the best movie to come out this year and has rightfully made more money than anything else. However, I don't think that Pirate Master was trying to cash in on it. Instead, I think they were trying to cash in on the 'Rupert' craze. I'm sure that Pirate Master was a concept originated around the time Survivor had so much success with Rupert's first season. If they had put Pirate Master on air then, I think it would have had a better chance even with the horrible cast of wannabee actors.

The 4400 is tanking this year. I wonder if this is its last. I think 1.8 mil is a pretty bad primetime number for USA, even with half the nights being all SVU and Criminal Intent reruns. Didn't this show used to pull like 5-6 mil?

It did back in seasons 1 & 2, but it averaged 2-4 million last year (season 3). I really have no idea what USA will do with it this year though.
