Given how easily I've been outsnarking you PD fans every week, why is it so hard for you to accept I can think up annoying wisecracks very quickly?
Is that what this is all about now? Outsnarking each other? Good grief.
Kiddo, I'm not a passionate fan of the show, but last night I watched the 4th episode on DVR and it was as good, if not better, than the previous three. Wouldn't make a difference to you, though, as I doubt you watched the majority of that episode to form a remotely valid opinion.

I kept saying, if given time, "Life" would grow to have just about perfect retention from its lead-in. And now it has! See, network executives, how good patience can be?
So the lesson is, if you wait long enough, the show you have on at 8:00 will be doing just as poorly as the show you have on at 9:00. And all will be right with the world.

You blockhead.

You're a passionate fan of pointlessly aggrieved responses to mildly humorous gibes, is what you are.

It's not my opinion that's lowering the ratings every week though--is it?

It was FIFTH in its time slot in 18-49. Maybe sixth. I didn't see what Univision did yet.
Either way, throw in the inability to tape a second series in the United States, the backlash, the lower ratings than "Jericho," and the sheer worthlessness of the show, and you have a prime candidate for a one-season wonder.
DEMOS yeah..number of viewers NO.
They could perhaps make some modifications on the amount of work or move production to Canada or maybe Mexico...it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
Wow NBC. With the strike, this season is another complete wash-out for the network. Nothing even remotely worth saving. And it's one hit show, Heroes, is going down the tubes too, both in quality and in ratings. Without football, last week it averaged just 6.7 million viewers. When the new episodes run out, and viewers tire of repeats, I wouldn't be surprised to see NBC in the sub 4 million range. If something doesn't crack at the network, and soon, it's done. They must be losing tonnes of money at this point.

And its one GOOD show (which is more of a hit than Heroes right now) is out of production indefinitely, due to its star developing a painful condition of 'enlarged brass balls'.
You know how pathetic a condition NBC is in right now?
Tonight GA has its second consecutive 48 minutes episode. Why is that? I mean the obvious is they want to bring up the 10pm numbers, but then why not make 60 minutes episodes or 100 minutes episodes? It seems strannge to do big overruns two weeks in a row
