Girlfriends and The Game are like shows that COULD do better, but there has never been any sort of marketing pitch that matches sister-shows like Veronica Mars and Gossip Girl, thus one of them will be cancelled by the end of the year.
Girlfriends and The Game are probably among the better of the scripted shows on CW, which is not saying much. However, they get no love when it comes promotion time. Hell, you have to scroll all the way down to CWtv.com to even find the shows page on Web site. Then, you have to watch videos of Gossip Girl over and over again if you watch the shows online.
Just another example that you can outdo others but when you but the shows are considered black shows and therefore the dollars are not necessarily behind it.
