OMFG. Those 6 million for SCC and PB are looking better now.
Not really--they didn't have nearly so far to fall, remember.

What on Earth is happening with FOX. House is tumbleing dow like the Titanic. I know it's at 8pm now but still 6 million is unbelievable
Aging hits--happens to every network. Which is why SCC is such a crushing disappointment--that was supposed to replace one of their aging hits--and it's already dead in the water.

And Fringe will barele be a hit let alone a smash hit
Bit early to say about that--people keep comparing it to The X-Files--which didn't become a mainstream hit until its fourth season.
Fringe won't take that long to prove itself, one way or the other. But with such great retention from House, this is much more likely to be what FOX needs--certainly a far more successful effort than SCC, which was given every possible advantage when it premiered, and just couldn't hang onto its early audience.
I think WAT's #s will pick up especially once it doesn't go head to head with DWTS. Their target audiences are very similar so the numbers are still decent all in all. As far as Fringe, I think holding onto 75% of House's lead in especially when House only had NCIS as competition should qualify it as honorable mention.

I'm somewhat shocked at the numbers for House. You can't tell me that last year's viewers are flocking to NCIS? That doesn't make sense.
Disappointing for Opportunity Knocks. ABC is going to be an island again this year on Tuesday with poor/great/poor numbers for the night.
Marc, do you have the half hour breakdown for Opportunity Knocks? I'm wondering if people who tuned in liked what they saw.
90210 tied with Opportunity Knocks in the demo. By next week, OK will be 5th in the demos. Not good at all. Completely DOA.
90210 had a viewership drop, but its demos are really good. CW will spin that and make it sounds like its fantastic. As for Privileged, there isn't anything they can spin. Below 2 million and a 1 in the demo is unacceptable.
The good news for House is I think when people are done sampling other shows, they will return to House. With all of FOX's other problems (mainly Monday, half of Wednesday, half of Thursday and Friday), Tuesdays is a success for them.
WAT is below 3 in the demo? This is going to drop fast when sampling is done. It's not as strong as CBS wants to think it is.
Seriously, the reason The X-Files was a better show than Fringe in its early days (in spite of some really bad episodes like Chris Carter's overbudgeted "Space") is that they had better scripts, provided by Glen Morgan, James Wong, Howard Gordon, etc. And of course the shows whose footsteps The X-Files was following in were mainly forgotten, so it didn't have to suffer from constant comparisons.
I'd sooner watch Fringe than about 60% of X-Files episodes--let alone those two lousy theatrical films.
But I may feel quite differently in a few months time. Fringe has yet to prove itself, but saying Jackson & Torv aren't the new Mulder & Scully is pretty pointless--they aren't supposed to be. There's no skeptic/believer dynamic there. They really are trying something different in this genre that was well-established long before The X-Files premiered.

And Fringe will barely be a hit let alone a smash hit
90210 is a bomb, i was expecting that.
CBS must be thrilled with the start they're having. And CM/CSINY will do very well today. Anyone knows why they're delaying CSI for a couple of weeks?
FRINGE is way overated and is just an X-FILES knock off without the magic chemistry of Duchovny and Anderson. Not that I'm thrilled about yet another CBS crime show but I'm glad MENTALIST is there to give it a run for its money.
ABC has had zero luck with shows leading into DWTS on Tuesday nights (Caveman, Carpoolers, Jim, Dancing recap shows, Just for Laughs, Opportunity Knocks). Why doesn't ABC air a one-hour Tuesday elimination show at 8 ET, and try to build interest in a new series at 9?
How can a show be overrated after only three episodes?

And hopefully without the pointless "Will they or won't they?" crap that eventually ruined The X-Files. I'd much rather see Dunham hook up with Broyles, anyway.

Actually I disagree on this statement since many people nowadays are recording while watching so people can still either watch or record House and sample other programs without missing anything so I'm not so sure FOX is going to remain dominant Tuesday nights . Who knows CBS might just pull it off with the NCIS and Mentalist duo !

Unless you've been in a coma for the last few months all the BUZZ was about FRINGE the next big breakout hit...or so they said it would be. That is how it was overrated because it failed to deliver on being the next LOST.
