-Yesterday’s Winners: Bones R (Fox), Two and a Half Men R (CBS), House R (Fox), CSI: Miami R (CBS)
-Yesterday’s Losers (Excluding Repeats): American Gladiators (NBC), Nashville Star (NBC), The Mole (ABC), Dateline (NBC)
----------
-Ratings Breakdown: Fox opened the week on a winning note with a first-place finish in both total viewers and adults 18-49 care of its encore combination of the underrated Bones (Viewers: #1, 7.02 million; A18-49: #1, 2.1 rating/7 share) and bona fide hit House (Viewers: #1, 8.64 million; A18-49: #1, 2.8/ 8). CBS, also in all repeats, was second overall as a result of The Big Bang Theory (Viewers: #3, 5.76 million; A18-49: #2, 1.9/ 6), How I Met Your Mother (Viewers: #3, 5.69 million; A18-49: #2, 2.1/ 7), Two and a Half Men (Viewers: #1, 8.85 million; A18-49: #1, 2.7/ 8), Rules of Engagement (Viewers: #3, 6.65 million; A18-49: #3, 2.2/ 6) and CSI: Miami (Viewers: #1, 7.95 million; A18-49: #1, 2.1/ 6).
Despite airing all originals, ABC finished a distant third with its line-up of The Bachelorette: DeAnna Tells All (Viewers: #2, 5.91 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.8/ 6), the regular edition of The Bachelorette (Viewers: #2, 6.94 million; A18-49: #2, 2.5/ 7), and The Mole (Viewers: #3, 3.89 million; A18-49: #3, 1.5/ 4), which is unlikely to ever see the light of day after this season. Too bad we can’t say the same about the tired (and inane) Bachelor franchise.
NBC also aired all originals, and barely delivered, with its combination of American Gladiators (Viewers: #4, 5.14 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.8/ 6), which proves that some non-scripted series do not deserve a second season, a 90-minute edition of Nashville Star (Viewers: 6.13 million; A18-49: 1.8/ 5 from 9-10:30 p.m.), and a half-hour edition of Dateline (Viewers: #2, 4.71 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.4/ 4). Although Nashville Star is worthy of being labeled a loser, keep in mind that these results on NBC are still stronger than its former run on USA.
Repeats of the CW’s Gossip Girl (Viewers: #5, 1.24 million; A18-49: #5, 0.5/ 2) and One Tree Hill (Viewers: #5, 1.19 million; A18-49: #5, 0.5/ 1) were barely on the map.
To whet your appetite for this fall, here is the new Monday schedule beginning in September (with new shows in caps):
ABC 8:00 p.m. Dancing With the Stars 9:30 p.m. Samantha Who? 10:00 p.m. Boston Legal (new day, final season)
CBS 8:00 p.m. The Big Bang Theory 8:30 p.m. How I Met Your Mother 9:00 p.m. Two and a Half Men 9:30 p.m. WORST WEEK 10:00 p.m. CSI: Miami
NBC 8:00 p.m. Chuck 9:00 p.m. Heroes 10:00 p.m. MY OWN WORST ENEMY
Fox 8:00 p.m. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (new time) 9:00 p.m. Prison Break (new time)
A more operative question may be whether "The Mole" will see the light of day to the end of this season, never mind another one. Those are terrific losses off "The Bachelorette" lead-in. No matter how high-concept the original version of "The Mole" may have been, the ratings losses seem just too much for its revival.

Specifically looking for ratings on ABC Family's "The Middleman."
You usually have to wait a couple hours longer.

It is what it is with the Mole, but if it can stay at a 1.2 or above, I think it will stay on the air to finish out it's run...As for my thoughts on last night's episode. -My pick for The Mole: Craig still alive! Yesterday my suspicions on him grew when he started to show some mole-like activity! -Two people leaving last night was a huge shock! I wonder if that was the plan all along or if they did that in case ratings weren't good -Still lovin this edition....Paul is my second pick to be the mole and nicole third. They are both funny -Mark and the black guy (sorry forgot his name don't mean to be racist still don't know everyone's names) are looking like they are gonna pull a Steven and Jim and purposely throw challeneges, but I don't get why Mark would take off his robe right away and wear nothing but his underpants, then just pull out at the last second, doesn't make sense to me. -All in all I'm really gonna miss this franchise, I'm done with Survivor (Liked the first six editions and the all-star one, but that was enough for me) and Big Brother (After the first season, I liked how america could call in), so this is pretty much it for reality tv for me. I don't know if that's considered a bad thing though
Sorry, but ABC f'ed up BIG TIME by putting The Mole at 10pm....that is NOT a proper timeslot for this type of show at all. It's almost like they WANTED the show to do poorly...who in the WORLD thought 10pm was a good time? I'm assuming they thought that The Bachelorette would provide Mole with a good lead-in, but while TB has relatively good demos, their audiences really aren't too compatible. Oh well....
Has NBC aired any new shows in the past 12 months has has even been a mild success, let alone a bonified HIT?
Chuck is about the closest to that discription, but not quite there.... yet.

Yeah, it does seem pretty stupid on ABC's part. They did give it a fair amount of promotion so I think they definitely wanted it to succeed and possibly become a summer staple going forward. I'd like to see them start off the night with The Mole and see what happens. The Bachelor/Bachelorette has always been on in the 10pm hour anyway. At this point, it can't really hurt. It's not nearly as good as the first two editions, but I'm still enjoying it.
